I've compiled a personal mod list for BGT (List)
Do you think I'm missing something? e.g. I've chosen not to include any NPCs 'cause I don't know if they are well written etc.
Personal mod list - Need input/suggestions.

Apparently the original list of mods I posted wasn't even compatible with each other. BiG World claimed BGT wasn't install and the game was broken. I've greatly reduced the list. What I'm looking for in additions is quests and NPCs that are well written RP wise and without bugs.
Edit: Sorry for double posting, I'm used to a forum where you can't edit your post after a certain amount of time. Won't happen again.

You neglected NPC mods because they might be bad - but you didn't think the same might be possible for different kinds of mods?
At least with NPCs, if you don't like them you can just send them away. If the game suddenly crashes whenever you meet an enemy mage on account of a bad difficulty mod you need to reinstall the entire game.
For compability issues (and installation order), refer to http://www.shsforums...ld-v11-english/

Yes, but I did think the same might be possible for other mods. I chose some "Mega Mods" (CtB, SOS, TDD, etc.) 'cause they were, well, mega. As for the tweak and fixes, I can read exactly what they do, but I cannot experience a quest or NPC before I install them. It is true that I can just send NPCs away if I don't like them, but personally I don't like to have stuff installed which I won't play. Hence why I'm asking for additional advice from people who've played them.
For compability issues (and installation order), I was referring to that exact file to great detail, and everything should have been in order.
So... do you have any quests or NPC mods you'd like to recommend?

Dark Horizons, Secret of Bonehill and The Grey Clan are all good BG1 mods, though some of the encounters are challenging and items available from the first 2 of these can unbalance the rest of the game.

Drizzt Saga is also good but even more unbalancing. Needs to be played just before the end of the game otherwise:
1) It will be too hard.
2) The rest of the game will be too easy.
It's a bit of a hack and slash mod, with little interaction, but as hack and slash goes, it is pretty good.

"bit of a hack and slash"
It's a monster-killing railroad through several different maps at the side of the drow (and his friends). As far as Baldur's Gate is concerned, and to stick with the metaphor, I'd describe it as a derailment.

I actually have a mod installs that makes allies have similar experience to the PC. This makes them far less powerful and in my opinion improves the Saga considerably. It also means that the PC is almost as powerful as the others. It is only their equipment that makes the difference.
(Drizzt's scimitars, Boots of speed, Mithril armour etc.)
In all my games, I have only been able to beat the final demon once. I like a challenge.
I certainly needed the raise dead ability of my cleric.
