The idea of an extraction token is ok, but I would prefer the flat % bonus of credits depending on what extraction medal is earned. The RNG system exists for Bioware to make some cash to maintain multiplayer services and push out more DLCs. Therefore, something along the lines of the following would work better in my view.

Say you earn 70,000 credits from a match. You would earn one of the following bonus depending on the type of extraction medal earned.

  • Lone Survivor Medal (5% bonus credits) =             3,500 bonus credits, totaling to 73,500 credits earned.
  • Partial Extraction Medal (10% bonus credits) =     7,000 bonus credits, totaling to 77,000 credits earned.
  • Full Extraction Medal (15% bonus credits) =        10,500 bonus credits, totaling to 80,500 credits earned.

To me, the above bonus would be large enough to entice players into using that extra consumable or reviving that fallen teammate to gain the Full Extract medal. However, it is not large enough of a bonus to hinder their sales of packages.

Credits are always welcome but I prefer the token idea to be honest, 50 to get a UR.

what does it mean when the word " bioware" appears on a thread that wasnt created by a developer? did they stamp this idea because they like it or something?

I think it means somebody from Bioware posted on this forum. Just checked and somebody from Bioware actually did post on this topic.

Let's hope the idea gets the attention of Bioware devs

Someone points out credits for extractions
The scaled system you suggest is unfair since it revolves on other people skills
Also you can get credits in other ways
Tokens/Medals are tied only to extraction, if you want them you must extract, no other way

As representative for Volus Meatshields Inc. I humbly submit that anything that lowers my costs for training, or rather equipping, new meatshields, I mean highly trained professonial soldiers, is a wonderful idea. Except Vorcha, because I know how to get paid for enlisting them.

QFT.  The skill level of the randoms I get in pugs tends to be shockingly bad.  I'd rather not depend on them for anything but decoys during objectives.

Randoms can be a pain, but giving a reason to fight for full extraction is the whole point. Tokens for full extractions should have been in the game from the beginning!

Gives a more team oriented objective if you want, something everyone has to conrtribute in, they can't just let others do it for them, they actually have to get to the EZ  alive.

It's a pity some people need incentive to be a team player, but if it encourages the buttheads into the LZ then I'm all for this token stuff.

I support the token idea, with appropriate adjustments, of course, as BioWare sees fit. I feel like you're giving way too many tokens away in your example, but the idea is solid.

Yeah, I hope Tully's acknowledgement means they're working on a similar idea. I'm sure their data shows a mass number of wave 10 wipes -- I know my friends all do it deliberately pretty much every time. Would be nice to give us a reason not to just /wrist after completing the objective.
