I got the Pc version of dragon age. I just installed it and started playing. However, in about a months time I'll probably be upgrading my PC. Is it possible to transfer the save file from my old PC to the new PC? If so, how do I do this?

Yes you can just copy your character folder in your(my) documents.

User/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Characters and there should be a bunch of folders there with your characters' names on them; copy these and when you reinstall on your next hard drive just put them back in the same place you took them from

Yes you probably could if you wanted to. I'm not sure how achievements would work.

too bad they didn't make it like MMORPGS where you just log in to your account and play your characters that you made on another comp =(

Yes, that would be cool.
I'd really like a message like "Save game cannot be loaded because the servers are not reachable."...

Still, it's a single player game. I prefer to have to game data in my profile folder.

You can save Dragon Age savegames on the cloud by using Windows Live Sync to sync My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\
