Remember that the 6# poll, the one about an option to save Thane, is NOT about if you would save him. It's about if you would agree that there was the option of saving him for the ones who want to.
I can accept that people don't want that option (although I don't understand it, if you don't want to use it just don't, but let others use it), but please, don't misunderstand the poll. We can discuss it if you'd like.
The only thing that I have to say in favour of the ones who don't want it is that they like the story as it is and they fear that if BW gives the option to save him they would have to be renegade to let him die or end up looking like jerks. But if the BW writers do a good jod this shouldn't happen... they could even make the option of saving him a renegade choice... they could do great things for everybody to be happy
