Increase the weight of the Piranha, that's the only thing that needs adjusting. Outside of Infiltrators, the gun is perfectly fine.

No. the Piranha is vastly overpowered and needs a real nerf.  the weight alone won't do.  It's gotta lose much more unfortunately as it is an end-all right now.

Those who deny this are liars / fools.

No it isn't. Outside of a ROF adjustment and weight, it's fine. In the hands of Infiltrators it is OP, but so are a ton of weapons in this game. It's Infiltrators, now the weapons. It isn't end all at all for a lot of classes.  I'll just leave the internet insult alone as it says enough about the person saying it.

BUFF: Geth primes cannon replaced w/ multi fire m-920 cain nukes.

BUFF: Husks hug is instakill.

Husks already bug out and cinekill sometimes. They will stand there... game says to press 'e' repeatedly... husk keeps standing there without making a move, melee key does nothing... death.

Destroyer Potato Launcher fire rate increase

Particle riffle warm up time reduced.

I have a Particle Rifle II and used it on my N7 Destroyer for the first time, just out of sheer curiosity.  Even with Devastator Mode enabled, holy hell that gun SUCKS.  Possible contributing factor as to why the Protheans lost against the Reapers. Image IPB

Can't imagine it being Gold/Platinum useful without the class-buffs of the N7 Destroyer, Turian Soldier or Human Soldier.

LOL @ Potato Launcher

No nerfs! Instead Fagnan says game is 100% balenced!

So you want him to lie?  I'm pretty sure we can all agree the Incisor is still really crappy.  100% Balanced means no buffs either.  But I guess being paranoid over small things is the norm for these forums.

The only thing is that all of the characters that the Piranha is extremely OP on, wont care about a weight increase.

You'd just be nerfing it for the people who aren't extremely OP with it.

I hope they finally nerf the goddamn Geth enemy faction and remove the stomp mechanic entirely.

I hope they do away with the Striker. Hardly anyone actually uses it, as far as I can tell, and those that do seem only to want it for the glitch. So simply doing away with it entirely might be the best option.

They fix the Vanguard glitch by removing the animation for the charge.

With all the whining, Piranha nerf is likely, but why did BW buff it a couple of weeks ago?!?

They did it really close to the gun's release, so probably didn't have a lot of play data to go off of.  So as far as I can figure, it was supposed to have that value to begin with, and then people started to realize it's potential.

Yeah, they reduced the innate penetration of the Typhoon from 1m to 0.25m last time.

The demolisher gets a huge damage reduction on her homing grenades and the cooldown for the pylon is lengthened for a few seconds.

The destoyer's devastator mode is nerfed to last for 90 seconds instead of permanently. Something like annihilation field.

The destroyer's frag grenades are nerfed to where he can only shoot 4 instead of 5 now.

The pirahna's rate of fire and damage is nerfed slightly to where it isn't as efficient anymore.

The krysae stays exactly the same.

The particle rifle gets a minor buff that doesn't really help it at all.

The typhoon gets a damage nerf.

Both geth get damage nerfs.

- My guesses.

Oh, I know.

I'd hardly call that a "nerf".

It would need to be cut down way too much to make a difference.

If they want to balance the gun, it should be done so without ruining what the gun was supposed to feel like in the first place. Making it slower than the Scimitar(You'd have to at least do that to make enough of a difference) completely ruins what the Piranha is supposed to be.

It's easily solved by reducing the damage, but extending the clip size.  Same damage overall, but takes a bit longer to pump it out.  The gun retains the feel of a CQC automatic shotgun.

There are plenty of ways of reducing damage over time without just going strait to fire rate.

Would love a week with no balance changes.

If the Piranha gets nerfed, it's the beginning of the end of CQC. As is, it's a very high risk, very high reward shotgun. It's the only gun I carry on my N7 Shadow since I'm fighting in very close quarters. Anything else and it's meaningless.
If they ruin Devastator mode, that's the end of Soldier's short reign.

Am looking forward to a Particle Rifle buff since I keep getting it in PSP packs.
