It;s not the Piranha it's Turian and Marksman. Try doing like that with something like an Asari Adept.

Maybe make it so it's not so strong in the early levels but keeps its current level 10 strength when it is level 10. Again, just to stop the complaints. Eventually we're going to end up having a useless weapon in our hands again.
BW will mess with the classes regardless, they seem enjoy editing stuff we didn't expect and didn't truly believe needed touching. Then take a long time to edit the stuff that we actually report on that needs consideration and alterations. They seem to get half their editing ideas from 'data' (really good approach >_>). Seems just as bad as EA/DICE's data 'telemetry' fiasco approach. <_<
JohnDoe, it's Silver, come on now. What class was he, what was his build, what weapon mods was he using and what gear/equipment was he using? Oh, and what was the weapon level. Loads of variables.

After reading this whole goddamn thread , your arguments only seem to stem from using it with the GI, Destroyer, and Turian Solider. And not from other non weapon based classes. Also, as I've said before, and I'll say it again, I rarely see the gun in matches and I don't care for it myself. Your little friends even admited to not using it on classes such as the AA, and your "Proof" video showcased it with a Turian soldier of which we didn't get to see his amps and powers. All your "Fixes" involve making it useless on all other classes exepct those three. I agree.. it'd be tricky to nerf. It would almost have to be one of those 'special' occasions where multiple classes with the same power are balanced differently (Justicar vs Drell Reave for example).
Probably have to take the entire damage boost out of hunter mode JUST for the GI... replace it with more speed and vision OR something else. It isn't like he'd miss it all that much.. with TC + Network AI you're still at 80 + 22.5... and with Geth Weapons 80 + 22.5 + 10.... he could live without that 17.5 and be fine.

Look not to be an elitist or anything but I run Platinum all the time and it's obvious to me that this gun is broken, the dps is too good. And for the nay-sayers stating that it sucks at long rang, who cares it's not hard to get in mid to short range on any difficulty.
