My GI with a GPS and Scorpion suggest you are wrong. I watch my friends use the Piranha during some farm runs at White and I consistantly pass them by huge margins. Even loaded with level 4 mods they can't keep up.

1- you have no proof.

2. even if it is true, it just means you outscored a bunch of weak players. 

I haven't seen much proof coming from you and my friends are quite capable players even when not farming.

If you don't think the Piranha GI is broken, I very much question how capable you are. 

Likely you are a good player who is coming on here to try and protect the piranha for the sake of farming runs.

I don't find the piranha all that powerful, and wouldn't dream of taking it into a gold match over other shotguns like the Wraith or GPS

I guess you missed the part where I said I do not use the Piranha on the GI? I like the Piranha for other classes though. Equipped on a Fury it finally makes an adept that is very CQC viable instead of ducking behind cover and spamming powers nonstop.

Ha. I don't run a shotgun Infiltrator except my Shadow, who I have running the Piranha because I have been trying it out. It murders at close range but doesn't kill very well outside a few feet...even the Reegar is far more effective at that distance. The spread is too grea,t even with smartchoke, for sharpshooters. If you can't aim in the first place? Sure. But if you hit headshots even half the time the damage isn't that great.

One disadvantage of the Piranha is that it necessitates hip firing, which can be pretty awkward for console players, especially if they're not used to it. For PC players, though, I'm assuming this weapon is unparalleled,

LOL.. Now it's not the gun that's overpowered it's the players. A truly overpowered gun would excel even in the hands of weak players.
