Of course you like it.  It's insanely overpowered.

LOL at the talon ever beating the Piranha.  It can't.  But that isn't the  talon's fault.  The play data bioware gathers will confirm all that I am saying and the adjustment will be made to the Piranha.  simple as that.

And on that faithful day, (tuesday)  I fully expect all of the hatred you pro-Piranha people can throw at me.  I will shield Bioware from your storm, as they will be doing the best possible thing for ME MP by nerfing the Piranha down to a more suitable power level.

In this instance, you may be marginally correct. It should have been an UR and it would be fine as is. Add a little weight (but still lighter than Reegar) and it is just fine as is.

Being right (only according to my opinion, mind you) in ONE instance doesn't help you escape Total Tool Status (TTS).

I have nothing further to contribute here; I am sure we will disagree elsewhere.

 As others have said, you have to get within 10 meters to make the shotgun effective. However, I agree that the Piranha has a ridiculous edge to it and its not the fact that it can take out brutes or similar bosses out with 1 or 2 clips. It's the fact that a person could last the whole wave without having to run to an ammo box because with extended clip they can have a total of 120 bullets, not counting a destroyer with ammo capacity evo.  So instead of focusing on damage, weight, RoF nerfs why not just cut the spare ammo capacity down to say 32 w/o extended clip and 48 with extended clip. This nerf still maintains the gun's usefulness for caster classes while forcing others to use the gun more situationally. Just my unorganized thoughts on the matter.....

As someone explicitly pointed out before (unfortunately, I forgot the good man's name), the Piranha's accuracy is terrible. At several meters it barely manages to hit anything. It's a melee-range weapon to the core, and doesn't need any nerfs, because it's a high-risk high-reward gun. Or as Mr. Taylor would say, "Heavy risk, but the priiiiize"

The Piranha can snipe with a smart choke, huh? That's funny, because the aforementioned guy proved otherwise.

You cut the reserve ammo, people who use the gun exclusively without a secondary will be forced to either run to an ammo box more often or use their spare clips more often. It forces players to be smarter in their decisions on when to go SPACE RAMBO

Did you make this, in your opinion, disturbing discovery while your Piranha was at X? Or did you see how it became OP (in your opinion) as you leveled it up over time?

Because a Piranha X is a lot more powerful on its own without mods than a Piranha I or V for that matter. Obviousness is obvious.

This. And besides, what difficulty is it OP on? It may be much more viable damage-wise than most other guns on Gold, but the range that you have to be at makes it rather unfavorable in untrained hands.

Second of all, I want EVERYONE to be doing this to the point were it becomes a problem for bioware. that is the only way this gets fixed.

It can't be left alone.  It's too dominant.


My GI with a GPS and Scorpion suggest you are wrong. I watch my friends use the Piranha during some farm runs at White and I consistantly pass them by huge margins. Even loaded with level 4 mods they can't keep up.

I just finished a Gold game, I was a GI with the Claymore, disrupter rounds I, and shotgun amp II, up against a maxed out Turian Solider with a Piranha, a maxed out devastator with a Piranha and a maxed out Vorcha sentinel with the GPS. Guess who came in first? Me (Claymore), who came in second? The Vorcha (GPS), and who was third and last? Exactly, the Piranhas. We absolutly wiped the floor with them.
