Anyway, it's not that hard to compensate your aim to hit more than one target in a group of enemies.
@cmn - I used the term because it was appropriate. It is possible to compensate your aim for the spread. Something you can't do seeing as how you admitted the extra pellets always miss.

I don't care whether my teammates have one or not, I use a Typhoon, which is also a OP version of the revenant and NOBODY ever asked me to drop that gun
just be glad that you have someone with good equipment on your team, you'll need it on Gold difficulty, I don't give a damn whether someone steals my kill or not, I still get the credits I want
The only thing I wish for is another MP DLC where we finally get a volus adept/vanguard- come on, we all want our biotic good to enter the field
But don't expect more than one or two more MP DLCs, we are getting to the limit of the amount of different maps now. I guess we will most likeley NOT see any elcor or hanar characters (how are they supposed to hold a gun) and the elcor would be walking tanks (one at the citadel mentioned that they fight with VI assistance and heavy weapons on their backs), 4 of them on max level would be terribly slow and way too powerful
We probably get to see prothean characters for MP (come on the bunker on Eden Prime couldn't be the only one with a survivor), with that they can add more prothean weapons (I am thinking of a prothean smg in particular), additional there might be that mod that gives a chance that not every shot uses up a point in the clip (up to now only the smg had such a mod), add this to the assault rifles for instance, I mean we already have an omni- blade for the assault rifle, so why not?
We sure will NOT get any Yahg characters, but we are done with human characters. Maybe there will be additional salarians, a krogan adept would be pretty nice (Wrex is actually a battlemaster=adept, remember?)

Well for me I just hope they increase the weight on the gun just like they did with the reegar how it was almost usable on any class.

The only reason I don't want the weight increased, is because in the description, it says it is made for light bodied species. But if you make it heavy, then it won't line up, and will only be good on weapon platform classes, or classes who don't care about weight. (I.e. Krogan) Nerfing damage and rate of fire will make it less desirable for caster classes, but leave it able bodied in the hands of classes like the Destroyer, GI, and Tso. And right now, it's pretty ineffective at ranges 20+ meters anyway. Decreasing the accuracy will drive it, yet again, into those three classes hands. This is a weapon that is supposed to be usable by all.N7 Rixus wrote...

The very fact that you said to use a Piranha to keep up with the Piranha users is a testament to my arguements. New DLC coming eventually or not, it makes no difference.
the Piranha must be tonned down for the good of the game. It will be balanced. And it will still be a good gun afterwards, just not an end-all anymore.

all you said in this post is that you want the Piranha left as is. That isn't happening. I give Bioware enough credit to believe that they will bring this gun into line.

People you need to stop complaining about nerf and overpowered classes and guns and start telling bioware that they need to fix basic glitches like the vanguard glith and putting new mechanics in the game like for example guardians should try to protect nemises and such. So DNC Protoman if you're not happy with the game stop complaining and go play something else
I'm happy enought with this game. It's the Piranha, one single, solitary weapon that is throwing it out of balance badly.

Burst fire, very high damage, most pellets will hit, the ones that do not will hit other enemies if you are shooting at a group. Headshots are easy to get at medium range. Easy to compensate for any recoil.
High damage to individual target - yes, provided if all the pellets hit. However, in my experience, the pellet spread would be too wide to deal steady, constant and powerful damage when fired into a group. You would probably need to cycle at least 2 clips to wipe out all the mooks.

Also, why would you even try to snipe enemies across the map with the piranha? Get in medium range, kill everything. It's like saying a sniper is OP because an AR is less accurate at the same range. If you try to snipe enemies with a piranha, you are using it wrong.
Funny. You've mentioned it has good range. Even so, even at medium range, it requires nearly half or a full clip to kill an enemy. I hardly would even call that OP. There are plenty of other weapons that can perform as well or even better than the Pirahna at that range, like the Harrier, Hurricane, Claymore etc.
I can snipe with a Piranha with ease when I have the T.Soldier's Marksman activated. Anyone who claims that they can snipe without accuracy powers is a fraud.
I love how people try to twist words to their own accord. Good range =/= sniping range.
Explain to me how it is not.
It does it better.
What an infallible argument you have posted there.
