Ok, when I played Mass Effect 2, i played on the second lowest difficulty all the way through, as a soldier. I never saw the point of other classes as they were obviously inferior since i could use all the weapons, and they couldnt. So, the mass effect 3 beta rolled along, and I decided to try the other classes in MP. I never liked them, except one class, the TURIAN SENTINEL! I saw he had more health than a human, i could throw on tech armor for more health, and spam warp by myself to take a whole bar or 2 of health per enemy! No need for overload, I remember Miranda had it and i never like it that much. So, as you could guess, bronze was my stomping grounds in the beta, and got me to play a warping sentinel in the campaign.

Only after i beat the game (the ending made me barf) i moved on to MP. I looked forward to unlocking the Turian, as everything else was inferior. I even thought as i used other classes, whenever i saw an adept in the lobby, i would change to an engineer for more class variety. Lol i know, that doesnt work that way. Thats when i started lurking these forums because i could never get things done when i tried silver, and quickly learned what a biotic explosion along with basically every other game mechanic and strategy that didnt involve just shooting and throwing warp for some extra damage.

Now, months later, I count myself as being just as knowledgable about the game mechanics as the rest of you and im a regular gold player (no way jose to platinum) and I look back on my noob days in shame, as i dont understand how i could have been that dumb. I have also played A LOT, as my manifest shows, considering for about 80% of my time with this game, ive played on bronze and silver.

Yes ... Those Cobra Missiles are meant for the lone Swarmer ......

When I was starting playing on Bronze the MP I thought the bonus (5 melee kills, etc) are individual and not for the whole team. In Silver when I run by myself in the map trying just to kill everyone and forget about the team and on Gold when I don’t go to the matches without the consumables.

First time on gold was FBWGG (of course) and I was using my salarian engineer that I didn't put any points into the decoy with. People got mad and were wondering why I wasn't using it.

I still repeatedly forget to switch on tech armour and barrier until the first objective waves.

Ditto on what OP's said about playing the soldier class all through the ME series not helping me in the early stages of learning the multiplayer. The fact the tooltips used to fly by in a split second in the single-player didn't help either.

Basically every time I switch from Asari adept to Asari vanguard and end up using Biotic Charge instead of Stasis.

i didnt know what the thing on my charcater back was and fired all my shots from it, when i first started playing MP

Shot a rocket in the direction of some bosses; all nice an clustered.  A husk did this

- Didn't know about biotic explosions. Then once I found the thread about biotic explosions, I thought it was too complicated and that I didn't need it. Finally, I was humbled by my friend's score with the Human Sentinel and all the strange booms I heard. I now know what biotic explosions are and how to do them.

- I thought that the only thing the Asari Adept was good for was Stasis + Sniping.

- I did not know how to use my rocket launcher. I did not how to get it out, nor did I realize that there was a 2-second delay before it fires.

Used only throw against atlases in demo. Didn't know and give a damn about biotic explosions.

I launched a cobra at the ground between two atlases and a Cerberus Engineer. Killed none of them...then died to turret. >.>

Not using my Widow III because it has only one shot. But thinking my Incisor I was the bomb diggity because it fired three shots...per trigger pull.

I've just played with a guy that still used only throw on atlases, and tried to stasis snipe them good times...

Well, I thought Proxy Mine was useless, and tried to biotic explode Brutes with Singularity + Warp through the whole single player... when I went back to finish it again for the Extended Cut the last fight against the bunch of Brutes and Banshees was ten times easier with better knowledge of biotic explosions.

I constantly miss bosses, since the demo. I thought it was better to ADS with the claymore. I thought it was better to spam the mattock.
