I charged a Ravager with the hope of destroying it and the banshee. You all can figure out how that ended.

Another pointless death came about when I was in wave 11 and decided to revive my teammates in the middle of a firefight when I was the only one left standing. I should have been the only one to make it out alive that day.

Ok, when I played Mass Effect 2, i played on the second lowest difficulty all the way through, as a soldier. I never saw the point of other classes as they were obviously inferior since i could use all the weapons, and they couldnt. So, the mass effect 3 beta rolled along, and I decided to try the other classes in MP. I never liked them, except one class, the TURIAN SENTINEL! I saw he had more health than a human, i could throw on tech armor for more health, and spam warp by myself to take a whole bar or 2 of health per enemy! No need for overload, I remember Miranda had it and i never like it that much. So, as you could guess, bronze was my stomping grounds in the beta, and got me to play a warping sentinel in the campaign.

So... did you ever go back and repeat ME2 as anything? Infiltrator was my fav (even though I'm not steady enough to use him in MP without the SP time dilation).

EDIT - I corrected my mistake about ME3 and ME2

Shot multiple rockets at an Atlas, first one missed (i swear it hopped to one side) next one hit a trooper, third one I aimed for the ground (no way I was going to miss) and took out a Guardian.

that may be noob fail but also happens that if playing on console the aim assist may screw you badly on some occasions (by wich thanks bioware) we can't disable it =/

about noobs nothing is more frustrating then having a noob reviving you when you've few pyros/phantoms or even banshees right next to you making him dying and you dying again...... if the squadmate doesnt have a chance to slip away DON'T REVIVE ;) noob tip.

LOL...Trying to grab enemies while standing in cover and usually getting beat down by that same enemy. Took me a month to figure out you had to be kneeling behind low cover to grab.

I have the same sad story. I never really cared about Mass Effect since I had a PS3. When 2 came out, I tried the demo and hated it. Then one day I saw ME2 for PC on sale for 7 bucks and I said what the hell, it can't be that bad after all the praise I've heard about it.

So I played through ME1 and ME2 as a soldier since I always thought that the other classes were severely under powered (I didn't know biotic explosions and tech bursts existed until ME3 came out).

I also didn't know gear slots were unlimited use until I played my 2nd gold match (sad I know).

had a noob on a bronze, round 3 download mission, he took cover just outside the circle, sent him a message after the round finished (we were getting swarmed) saying that we got more xp and credits if he came into the circle for cover and he replied that i could go do myself and he would get more kills doing it his way and that was all he cared about.

It was kind of nice in the beginning when people had just avenger I:s and downing that lone Atlas on bronze waves could take forever :) You were lucky if you had one missile or medigel when you went on missions and if you beat bronze you could buy 3 recruit packs!!! Seing somebody play a krogan for the first time and just following for a few waves, watching in awe as enemies are flying everywhere after a krogan heavy mele :)

I didn't begin playing mp until after I was about halfway through the single player. Of course like everyone I chose u/u/u as my first match. I landed in a lobby (which I assume was gold) and heard people discussing strategy-none of which made any sense to me. Finally one of them says "Alright Captain we're going to do this, just know it's charity for ya". I hit B and left b/c I figured they were dicks. It wasn't until later that I realized there were different difficulties and that they were actually being nice by not kicking my lvl 1 from the lobby.

I'm certain that game would have gone very poorly for me, although in retrospect I kind of wish I had stuck around and played it.

The first couple days I was scared to death of using whatever it was those little numbers and pictures of consumables meant on the D-pad. Took even longer figuring out that not all gear slots were consumables.

"Hey, this Vulnerability VI looks really useful, but I probably shouldn't use it on Bronze since I only have one of these...."
