The thought that they might nerf it makes me very sad. It's only really good on the Destroyer, because of his massive shields and rate of fire/damage/accuracy bonuses. On high difficulty, you can't really stay out of cover all that long on other characters to make it really worthwhile. Plus, it weighs a ton, so is really only viable on grenade or non-caster classes. Please don't hurt my UR, BioWare.
Nerf the destroyer into the ground then.Either way,Bioware must have something to sacrifice to the nerf gods at the end of the day or calamity will befall on us.Try to be understanding of their position.

You have no clue what "nerfing to the ground" means. You really don't.pisonmison wrote...
bioware doesnt know a **** about the game. they feel its to srong nerf it to the ground, 90% of players think its good, ignore them.
And just because the players "think it's good" does not mean that it's not overpowered. "90% of players" thought the Krysae was good when it was first beginning its Meatchunking World Tour with Rebellion.
Now the players who said it was "balanced" at the time are complaining because they no longer have their instawin gun, and instead actually have to utilize a modicum of tactics to use it to the best effect.

Damn right, this game will be dead to me too when Halo 4 comes out in November, then I "might" buy any SP DLC, but I will be probably busy playing with Master Chief:lol:

Fear of the unexpected. The TC nerf wasn't huge, and in all likelihood this won't be either. But **** if I'm not miffed about it and I don't even have it yet. The only thing that could push my buttons more would be a nerf to the Harrier.

The Typhoon could do 1 damage per shot but I'd still use it, because it's bloody awesome.

The Typhoon, as it stands, is effective on any class which does not rely upon powers. The fact that it synergizes well with the Destroyer should very much be a "DUH" moment for the playerbase, as it's quite clearly meant to have a kind of "lore" relationship with the N7 Program and the Destroyers in specific.
That said, it needs to be made a "Rare" if it is nerfed to any real noticeable extent. It really does.
The stupidity of Ultra Rare ARs needs to end, or at least be mitigated by having one or two put into the "Rare" category to supplement the frankly underwhelming categories existing now.

Can't they just pre-nerf stuff and buff it over time if it's needed so I can't grow fond of certain weapons and then have them changed into something else entirely? It's like giving me a Porsche one day and waking up the next day to find it has been replaced with a Honda Civic.
Tears are more delicious for them. The warm fuzzy feeling that comes with buffing is overrated and stale.
