Aint BW do some testing before release? I mean why give us all this adorably powerfull weaponry and then nerf it to oblivion instead of balancing it right from the start?

Ok, here's a question... what did you use before it was added to the game one week ago?
Also, you act as if whatever nerf it could potentially receive will make it useless (nvmd that you don't even know what changes it will get). Say the damge gets nerfed by 10% (something that you can make up with a simple AR amp I)... will that really be the end of the world?

The thought that they might nerf it makes me very sad. It's only really good on the Destroyer, because of his massive shields and rate of fire/damage/accuracy bonuses. On high difficulty, you can't really stay out of cover all that long on other characters to make it really worthwhile. Plus, it weighs a ton, so is really only viable on grenade or non-caster classes. Please don't hurt my UR, BioWare.
Nerf the destroyer into the ground then.Either way,Bioware must have something to sacrifice to the nerf gods at the end of the day or calamity will befall of us.Try to be understanding of their position.
I find nerfs so very discouraging though. Do other games change stuff every week?
What is the point of URs if they aren't better than all the other weapons anyway?

bioware doesnt know a **** about the game. they feel its to srong nerf it to the ground, 90% of players think its good, ignore them.
And just because the players "think it's good" does not mean that it's not overpowered. "90% of players" thought the Krysae was good when it was first beginning its Meatchunking World Tour with Rebellion.
Now the players who said it was "balanced" at the time are complaining because they no longer have their instawin gun, and instead actually have to utilize a modicum of tactics to use it to the best effect.
says somebody who has not even played it yet.
I don't need to play with the Typhoon personally. I have an entire group of regular individuals who I play with all who have Typhoons(lucky gits...).
I also have had the bad luck to have to carry bad players with low N7 ratings who think that having a Typhoon makes them a winner.
I've seen both sides of the coin with the Typhoon, that in the hands of a skilled player it is an absolute beast while in the hands of someone with no friggin' clue what they're doing it might as well be a doorstop.
Those weren't my statistics. It was using the poster's own example, which you just know he does not have exacting numbers for. The sentiment he's expressing is simply that "the majority of players who actually care enough to post on forums and have that individual item share this sentiment". When the Krysae came out, there were a few users(myself included) who had it maxed out to 10 within the first few days.Where do you get your statistics anyway???
It was unstoppable. It still can be, provided you actually know what you're doing and don't expect the gun alone to carry you.
Why does that matter? Because in the "nerf" threads, I was right there saying that it did need it. It was ungodly strong, and a poorly designed and implemented weapon.
The simple fact of the matter is that the Typhoon is not the Krysae. But that would not change the big issue, which is that even if it were overpowered those who had it would fight tooth and nail to keep it at an overpowered state rather than admit that it might need to be balanced.

I was playing with HS and Mattock, but that didn't cut it for me, man thanks to the typhoon I'm now mostly 2nd or 1st not 3rd or 4th, on the score board.

Bioware does weekly nerfs, but doesn't address problems like the Banshee magnetic hand, random disconnects and other latency issues...
Oh well, it's their game. What can we do about it.

If the Mattock wasn't enough, you are doing something very wrong.
Besides, why do you care about your place in the scoreboard?

Paranoid much? For some reason the Krysae still plays really differenly than the Vindicator. But maybe it's just my imagination. Of course they're the same! Cause they got changed a bit, now they are so the same they are fused in a same-ity of same-ness.
I think you can relax. One no-longer-op gun isn't going to change the world grey.
No. Not paranoid. And hope you like milquetoast.

Actually I used the krysea about 3 times total(wasn't really my thing) and I think it's terrible they nerfed it into oblivion. I wouldn't say it was balanced but as some one pointed out its PvE not PvP(so if your complaining that something is OP there is a good chance your just butthurt because you were outscored by it and are missing the point of ME3 MP anyway). Whenever a company "removes" some thing from a game by nerfing it( debuffing a weapon, class, power until it is not viable in game) it's really sad. I agree when a change makes you have to be more skilled to use something(TC anyone?) but that wasn't the case with the krysea and isn't the case with the typhoon.IMHO

Cut the Rate of Fire down to 1/3 of what it used to be
Take away 1/3 of the damage
Reduce the ammo to about 2/3 of what it used to be
Make it weigh twice as much
Don't you learn?

I still say they way over nerfed it and I only used it twice sense it was released. The most recent nerf to it is why I stopped playing this game. Yea a nerf to a gun I don't use made me stop playing. BioWare stop being special needs kids with your balance changes. Learn to game design because you obviously don't know.

Hate to see a damage reduction, I mean, besides it being a ultra rare, its freaken heavy, and we don't have a fair amount of good assualt rifles.
