hi guys seem to be having a problem has a stormlord can't for the life of me get my spear to enchant with shock weapon when i click it just nothing i have a zalantar spear enchanted with keen but i just can't seem to get the buff on either a regular spear any help would be greatly appreciated

According to the wiki page:

• This ability sometimes does not affect your weapon if it already has elemental damage on it, such as +1d6 fire damage or +2 magical damage.

I've personally never had trouble with an existing elemental damage type, but I've never tried with a magic-damage weapon (zalantar or adamantine). You might want to avoid those.

Darksteel would be a better alternative anyway. The description says that "Darksteel is commonly used in the crafting of magic items related to storms or lightning."

[Edit: it seems the spear molds in the game only use wooden material types - even though one of the spear appearance types is clearly made entirely of metal.]
