Man, I'm tired of playing WoW and the expansion comes out soon. I shouldnt have played nonstop for the last 5 days.

Stopped half a year ago, couldnt handle how much they butchered the lore anymore.

I never really thought they butchered any of the lore. The worst thing they did was the draenei/eredar retcon.

Also, while powerleveling my troll shaman from 73 to 85 over the course of 3 days, I obtained this picture, which may or may not come in handy:

Two names: Illidan and Kael´thas.

Illidan was turned from a interesting "villian" (he was never truly evil, at least not in the absolute way) into a raving lunatic purely because he was wounded by Frostmourne. This was the guy who had his eyes ripped out by Sargeras himself and spent 10.000 years imprisoned underground.

Though the insanity shows...the lore dictates Illidan is preparing for the assault of the Burning Legion following his failure to destroy the Lich King...and yet Illidan starts attacking Shat´rath where another enemy of the legion is gathering. The guy whounited Blood Elves and Naga beneath him does not recognice the potential in at least having a cease fire or ttruce in palce with the enemies of his enemies.

And Kael´thas...struck a deal with the Bunring Legion, the force behind the Scourge who destroyed his homeland and in doing so betrays Illidan who not only indirectly (by sending Lady Vashj) saved Kael´thas life several times over and saved his entire species...

Sorry...I just get upset whenever I think about this...butchering...off topic and all, I will try to stay away from it.

You all seem to forget, that mass effect is a very personal journey at it's core essence. You can't be told what happens in your story. The story is there for you to live it and understand what it means for you personally.

What confirmation do you, personally need? Do you want a press release, or a stetement "Yes, it is true?" - that's not going to happen. Ever.
Do you want more pieces of the puzzle? more solid evidence? - More DLC for ME3 is on their way.  
Do you want more gameplay after the breath scene? - More DLC is coming, but the sheer amount of content left unrelosved in ME3 if IT would be too much for a mere DLC to handle - it would warrant another full Mass Effect game, which we will neve....wait a sec! Which we will be getting!

Personally, a press release would be the worst way to do anything, so I agree with you there. All I'm saying is, after everything is said and done, and they are done with the series, then we should have an explanation. As they are currently working with Mass Effect, I don't expect anything to revealed other than in in-game content. If they officially conclude the series like this, as it is, there will be no point to it all, that is what I meant.

Bioware isn't getting another dollar from me until one or the other happens. If they want to lose a customer until ME4 launches years from now, then so be it. And honestly ME4 with synthesis as canon can burn in hell

IMO, it's already burning in hell, along with the entire rest of the damn series.

I'd say it's sizzling, there still is a chance to save it, but if they fail, it will catch fire and burn.

I would. But given the overwhelming evidence gathered, one can make fairly safe assumptions as to what the truth will or will not be.
