Thanks for the info. It'd be more convenient if that expansion was downloadable like the DLCs. Maybe it will since ME3 is integrated with EA/Origin (on PC Posted Image). A kind of Digital Deluxe Edition.

Once the dlc schedule is completed and ME3 is done and dusted. I'm sure they'll release an "ultimate edition" similiar to fallout new vegas or Oblivions "GOTY edition". But as far as expansions go, they will always be disc based for consoles just because of the amount of content in expansions.

I'm not sure about that GOTY edition. Afaik BioWare's never done that with Mass Effect. Well, they did bundle Bring Down the Sky (free download) with ME but they didn't do the same with ME2 and its DLC.

Dunno but ME3 takes up 10GB on disk and you can still download it.

Heres one for all of you.... During the Cerberus coup on the Citadel... while making your way to c-sec security(when you find the body and examine - shep says - "cerberus loves their sleeper agents")... you will see on the walls... 2 lit up c-sec logos representing the citadel.... running top to bottom straight through the middle of the logo is a beam of light... possibly representing the beam generated by the crucible.... thoughts....
maybe its something .. maybe not... but if not.. why is it there?

Protip: Those dream sequence sounds were some of the only in-game sounds that we confirmed contain Infrasound in significant quantities. :)

Just seen the video on that...  infrasound was also present whenever Coates was around? Posted Image

No wonder I didn't trust the dodgy geezer.

I was going to get the maschine out and do a quick demo of the infrasound in the game, but I've got a cracking migrane and the last hting I need is heavy bass!

I'm still wondering if the first scene with the kid in the roof garden contains infrasound.

(Because at that point, the Reapers haven't arrived yet, so we can rule out it's because of the proximity of a Reaper)

Not conclusively, at least not that I've noticed, although I only ever looked at the sound files rather than the whole scene as it stands in-game.

By the by, given that omega is in QA and has been for a while - I don't think we're going to be waiting til october 30th (or whatever the proposed date was) for that. Microsoft/Sony certification for a big release like this is maybe 5-10 days, so if I were a betting man I'd put money on October 9th or 16th.

Also another thought - I've changed my tune somewhat on the "there will be 3 DLCs and the last one will be the bridging one" thing - I came to realise that any DLC that modified the ending wouldn't need flags in the sequence editor, so based on the file structure of the game there's 3 DLCs (probably taking us up to christmas/january) and one more to complete the remaining 6 months worth of content taking us through to march.

Holycrapholycrapholycrap! Ideas! Puzzle Theory related breakthroughs! Banshee and I were talking, discussing IT, and I thought of something brilliant. Though these are all known pieces of evidence and such, I never thought of this until now.

Leviathan was August 28th, the last Tuesday of the month.

Omega is widely expected to be October 30th, due to several factors. Any later, and it would be on either the release of Halo 4, Black Ops 2, or immediately after their releases, which would be a terrible idea. We also have the Pumpkin in Vancouver, as well as dev comments that they're playing it right now and that it's amazing, so if it's not done now, it's very close.

"DLC 3", which may or may not be the Xen/Keeper DLC, has been announced to be released 1st Quarter 2013.

Since everything's on Tuesdays, Levi and Omega would be as close as you can get to 2 months apart, which is 9 weeks. Almost any time in 2013 is longer than 9 weeks from Omega, and that'd be a bit strange.

Oh, wait. Fireworks? Champagne? New Years DLC you say? Well, it just so happens that 9 weeks after Omega is... January 1st! Which just so happens to be? Technically 1st quarter 2013.

Still not sold? Well that's okay, there's more.

Remember Bioware stated they're working on a new Mass Effect game? As well, someone (I'm sorry, I can't remember who) was talking about the possibility of it being a "Mass Effect 3: Part 2", or, at any rate, an expansion big enough to be disc based. While I find this to be a cool idea, there's now more to it.

Leviathan. 9 weeks later? Halloween & Omega. 9 weeks later? New Years/Q1-2013 & "DLC 3". 9 weeks later?

March 5th. One year less a day from the launch of Mass Effect 3.

The next Mass Effect game won't feature Shepard as the playable character?
The game flags our choices at the end?
We should keep our saves?
The Rachni will play a huge role in the final battle with the Reapers?
No ABC endings?
No Reaper off switch?
"If you knew what we were planning you'd hold on to your copies forever"?

That would be amazing! Normally I don't really trust these theories but guess what?! Go back 9 weeks from leviathan's release date and you get June 26th. That's right, the release date of the extended cut!

Althought October 30th would fit perfectly for their 9 week rotation cycle. I do think that it would be wise for them to get it out on the 29th. For the pure simple fact that if they release it on the same day as AC3. It will be largely over-shadowed.

Okay, this doesn't prove anything, but after noticing the similarities between TIM in the Citadel scene and Udina,... (also, notice Anderson in the background)

Posted Image

... I couldn't help but notice TIM doing another typical Udina pose...

Posted Image

Posted Image

Does TIM do this pose at any other moment in the games? I thought it was typical for Udina.

And then there's this, but it's not quite unique...

Hey guys, remember when I did my "Harbinger is watching you" post where I argued that the ending to ME3 you can see subtle hints that Harbinger is still watching you. I found this interesting the beginning to ME3:

Also bumping a earlier post....because I can.

This might be simply the same animation mechanic applied to a different model. I wouldn't look too much into it. ;)

@Doomsday Device, that is very interesting, it just goes to show how unoriginal that scene really is. Whether that was intentional for IT or not, remains to be seen...

@doomsdaydevice Hacket does the 'chin-holding' pose several times too. I think it's just a generic thoughtful pose.

I am aware of that.

I'm just going by the idea that everything that happens between the beam run and the decision chamber was built from Shepard's memories.

As Leviathan says:  "Your memories will give voice to our words, accept this."

Ah, thanks.

Yeah, it's probably nothing.

That scene with the fist though... immediately reminded me of TIM when I saw Udina do it on my playthrough last night.

I have several things to point out about Udina.
First of all, I want to show further scenes with the so-called Udina fist:
Udina's epic speech.

Furthermore, I recently saw the ultra renegade ending of ME 1 and Udina appears to have a similar ideology like Cerberus. This kind of foreshadows Udina's choice to work with Cerberus during the Citadel Coup, though the amount of his responsibility is still unkown.
Do you think his coorperation witch Cerberus was a desperate act after the events on Earth at the beginning of ME 3 and the other council races defying humanity? Or do you think that he had this kind of agenda long before the reapers invaded the Sol system?

Edit: I'd like to share with you one comment about this videos that made me really laugh:
"Who is that bad@ass and what did he do to Udina?"

Hey, guys, I dunno if this has been discussed before and it has nothing to do with the endings so might be a bit off topic. But remember how in Mass Effect Inquisition Bailey killed Pallin in gunfire on Udina's command? Well we now know that Pallin was innocent, right?

This is the last thing you see before Harbinger zaps you. You can't skip this. The writers made an emphasis on this scene. This is how you see Harbinger before getting hit with the laser.

On the citadel this is the only light that is that color, note the positioning/ It's Harbinger. The tube even leads directly into the light. Tubes represent reaper tech.

Posted Image

Again the color and position. What would cause that orange glow? Harbinger.

Posted Image

My harbinger is watching you argument is the idea that at the end of ME3 on every level you see Harbinger, but it gets more and more abstract.

Which brings us to the start of ME3, where the player starts getting the idea that Shepard might be succumbing to indoctrination.

Standard poses built into the engine. Even Shepard does some of these from time to time.
