Maybe they'll add a victorious opt out later, but I don't think so. They would have to add a 5th option instead that refuses the 3 choices the Catalyst presents but instead takes another action. The speech is nice, but it's just not followed up by something.
Then we have the end scenes, and save games. I can't reproduce a "Normandy crashed and burned" ending yet, still have to wait for my readyness to go down to 50% (it always shows as 100% when I'm offline), but in Opt Out it's just a fact every squad member is marked as dead. Which they are not in the other endings. Also the Shepard alive or dead question: the only hint of Shepard really dieing is when no one is coming out of the Normandy (as the door is still opening I still assume they are alive, I don't even know if the Normandy repair scene that is introduced by the EC happens with that low EMS or only at medium). The audio track is called "...epilogue_shepdead" but the others don't mention Shepard at all, it's either called "...epilogue_end_a" or "_epilogue_edi". This means on low Shep is dead, high Destroy Shep is alive, and for the others it's uncertain.
Then for the Harvesters. I always found their name interesting. Harvester. Or another word for it: Collector. I was already thinking about them as maybe another experiment the Reapers did, we know they were still researching and experimenting on Collectors by the time of ME2, and the Collector General looks vastly different compared to the troops. The Harvester looks still half insectoid (the body is actually even similar to the Collector General's), half worm. They were also referred to as "worm-necks". Then someone wrote about the deleted codex entry of ME1 and I found:
Also FFZero reminded me of Javiks small line that Maws were much smaller in his cycle... and we also have EDI referring to Kalros as "worm" (combined with "worm-neck" it maybe could be seen as a hint?). So we have modified insects (Protheans/Collectors) and worms that are much bigger as in the last cycle, and some sort of unnatural insect/worm hybrid. My guess is the Reapers were pretty busy lately.[...] The origin of these creatures is a mystery, though recently they have begun to appear unexpectedly on multiple uncharted worlds in the Attican Traverse.
[...] Others point out that the bizarre morphology of harvesters runs counter to known laws of adaptive evolution. Their forward-loaded body and undersized wings suggest they were a product of illegal genetic engineering.

Also ran out of steam a bit at the end (smoke was filling the kitchen) with the DLC's I was referring to the expansion pack that was being mentioned. I don't think the endings would have to change that much just slightly more dialogue (as has already been done by Leviathan) the realisation would come from the player as they slot in the info thye have been given, and then bang breath scene expansion pack/ME4 whatever.
Also Im from Lancashire, England that was why I was burning the kids tea instead of dinner or whatever it is elsewhere in the wider world.

Still reading up, anyone played Leviathan with a non import Shep?BansheeOwnage wrote...
In the same sense that they must have had a reason to have him be important at all in ME3-base game.401 Kill wrote...
Ooh, I really like the idea that each DLC will keep adding to the importance of Harbinger. If they go down this path, they simply must have a good reason to do that.BansheeOwnage wrote...
I would say that the scene is now more important as it is the only outcome with its own memorial scene (they don't put up the name) and it also has its own music track. Like how Harbinger is getting more important, this is too.masster blaster wrote...
But Banshee there is no music in the before EC breath scene, so what does that mean. You can here the background better without the added music in the breath scene in the EC Destroy ending.
"Harbinger speaks of you" implies Harbinger is their leader.
His codex entry about him being the oldest reaper, and their implied leader again.
"Several Sovereign-class reapers including Harbinger have broken of from the battle with sword!" Where better for the leader to go but where our's is?
"Harbinger?" Shepard looks into the camera and has the horror face.
My personal theory is that Harbinger has effectively indoctrinated the other reapers. His personality compared to the rest seems to indicate that. He doesn't just spam absolutes and declare his awesomeness in an arguement. He also seems more emotional.
All that is just the base game too. They make him more important in Leviathan. The question of why make him more important is applied with much more importance here, because this is DLC.
If the rumours are true and there are collectors in Omega, it would also make perfect sense for Harbinger to be in too, assuming direct control of them. His taunts could reveal many things...
Harbinger is getting more important - now we just need to know why.
Anderson leaves out the "including Harbinger" part if it's a pure ME3 Shep.
Husks in ME3 always had Sheps head so I don't know why the sudden excitement oOHome run MF wrote...
No opinions on the scars? They have dozens of male textures and the Shepard without scars one, why use that one in the husk head?

Do you think we will meet Feron in the Omega DLC? Afaik he was operating in the Terminus Systems during ME3.
Good point.
Could actually be nice if the DLC opened with Liara informing you that Feron has found a way into Omega or similar critical information that leads to us needing and beeing able to go to Omega (and off course informing Aria about it) Would be a nice tie in to how Cerberus destroyed the Shadow Brokers ship (even if Liara got payback at the same time) by then have Liara and by extension her network as Shadowbroker expose a way into Omega which iswithout doubt a critical Cerberus facility (or worse).
Also sending a message to Aria how you got a way into Omega could be a nice way to get her on the Ship for the DLC possibly as a temporary squad mate. Imagine Aria pulling up alongside the Normandy in some private ship and marching on board like she owns the place. Would be a lovely way to include her without ruining any of the golden rules of Omega if you ask me.
If Aria sits on board the Normandy for a while, I'm guessing she takes the couch in the lounge. Slowly, her presence begins to turn the Normandy's lounge into a night club...

3b.However when the AI reaperised the Levi's it did to good a job and it preserved the malevolence and controll freakery of the Levi's and good all Harbinger wanted to control all life sytnthetic and organic so that it would be the "true pinaccle of existence" and no further evolution would be possible. Harbinger then went on to indoctrinate the AI using his modified Levi control. We assume the AI is hardware but the Levi's controlled organic minds so maybe the AI is organic (possibly the keepers)
*snip*
I think you bring up a very interesting point here and while I don't think the AI is organic, I could see this following idea as a possibility: The Intelligence could be an AI that is constructed such that the keepers serve as the processors for the AI. To my understanding, the keepers are organics with some cybernetic enhancements. Their synthetic components could "focus" a lot of their brain power to create a synthetic AI with organic parts... a different take on the Reaper recipe

We know that the Protheans had secret projects (like Ilos and the Crucible)...and that one off shoot was manipulation of Reaper Tech - to serve their own purpose (like building a back door onto the Citadel w/their own mini relay and corrupting the Reaper control signal over the Keepers)...
We also know that Omega was a "mining" facility of the Protheans...but it is also implied to have Reaper origins...what if the Protheans weren't simply trying to "mine" the element zero present in the asteroid...but were trying to get at the Reaper secrets there...
Edit: Can't wait for this DLC!

I second that! The list of juicy plot points this dlc could contain is just fascinating:
-Prothean secrets and/or Reaper secrets as they relate to the Crucible
-Cerberus plans
-whatever happened with the Cerberus base
-possible new enemy in the form of the Adjutants
-are the Collectors returning?
-if the Collectors are involved, will Harbinger be able to seize control of some of them? or does Harbinger require the Collector general for this purpose?
So many great possibilities on where the lore could go with this
