Well that's a bit of a generalisation, I don't think I've met anyone who "believes" it. It is a possibility that must be considered however. There are some things supporting it, but until we have more info, we can't really say it's 100% true or not. I doubt Bioware would ever call anything "Project X" but the content doesn't seem unlikely.mass perfection wrote...

Does IT involve dinosaurs or would it if there was a Dinosaur DLC?BansheeOwnage wrote...

Whats your counterargument against Leviathan since he pretty much confirms the Catalyst is real and not a dream or hallucination?spotlessvoid wrote...

most "iters" arent the blind faith type, despite what others may think. We do a lot of research and cross referencing of our info, so no, ITers, far as I can tell, dont "believe" in project x. Hopeful? Yes

A lot of people could explain it better than me, but it doesn't do anything to IT. Now that we have the premise of a thing in charge of the reapers, it means everything in the end sequence is created through memory. It actually makes it more plausible. There's also the whole thing about how the Leviathan's conversation looks exactly like the "catalyst" one. It also isn't stated who or where the "Intelligence" is, and some believe it to be Harbinger. It also doesn't make much sense for the intelligence to be the "catalyst" because the citadel was created long after the reapers. Also, Anderson and TIM are real people, but that doesn't mean they aren't in the hallucination! Just like how Bryson, Hadley, and Fake-Garneau are in the Leviathan's alternate-reality. That's not really an argument.mass perfection wrote...

Actually,The Citadel is part of the Catalyst and the Reapers must have added the Citadel to the Catalyst. But you're right. There's no reason to think the intelligence is the Catalyst. But that means when Shepard wakes up,he's likely going to talk to this intelligence.BansheeOwnage wrote...

Exactly, the end makes even more IT sense now, because going in, Shepard knows that there's an "Intelligence" that's in charge of the Reapers.

Yeah, that could happen. Especially if it's Harbinger, as it's been heavily implied that he is the leader of the reapers. It's something writers don't do." Harbinger is really important and the leader of the reapers." "Lol jk this kid is."mass perfection wrote...

Also think of this. How does an AI with enough power to harvest the Leviathan need Sovereign to activate the signal in ME1? AI is powerful enough to take them out without a single Reapers help, but it's reduced to elevator man/tour guide in the decision chamber? Not likely
