So yeah, Leviathan can't possibly have mentioned the intelligence being the catalyst as it has no idea what the crucible is. Does it even say that the intelligence is on the citadel? I cant remember, I am quite tired though.

And it doesn't prove IT; it merely supports it. We haven't ever proven IT, or else it wouldn't be a theory as such. But we did prove that there is no rational way to take the game literally.
