I mean the trilogy pack is great for the ps3 users. If you own ME2&3 you'd probably be able to trade them in and get pretty close to the $60 price tag for the trilogy pack.

It can't have any new content. People would storm their headquarters embassy style if they found out they had to buy that just for a little extra content.

I think it's really not a big deal. Good way for people to get all 3.

That looks cool, though I have all three, and play 360 anyway. I have a friend who was interested in Mass Effect, but he's a PS3 guy, and was a bit disappointed he couldn't play the first one.

Also, November 7th is now "N7 Day" Posted Image

I guess the only interesting aspect is they feel there is enough if a market to launch that

The ITers have it right. Out of everything I have read on all the forums, I am really sick of being told ITers are in denial. Denial of what? ITers didnt create the concept of indoctrination by the reapers and then make it a central theme throughout the whole game up until the very end where Shepard's last convo with TIM is about indoctrination! ITers didnt add in the whole side story with the boy and the dreams and then made the catalyst look just like the "dead" child. The facts are there plain and simple.

Maybe IT is wrong all together but the hints and "facts" seem to be there. Were not in denial as if everything is made up by desperate fans.

Okay rant over :) Im ready for Shepard to pick himself up out of the rubble and continue.

Hmm, thinking about it, I believe that they haven't announced if it comes with DLC or not because they haven't announced Omega's release date yet. It makes even more sense for it to be October 30th now, one week before this is released.

That could also mean interesting things for "DLC 3"...

On that note, the slip on cover for the game case in the Collector's Edition has this on the front of it. Here's everything.

You see Shepard pulling Shepard out of the Rubble before you ever play the game! And every time you take it out again too! Remind you of anything?

Well said!

I personally find calling IT 'fanfic' worse, simply because it objecively isn't in any way. It annoys me as much as calling a shark a donkey.

But Blur! Clearly that's Citadel rubble he's being pulled out of! How did someone get on the Citadel to pull Shepard out you ask? Why are there Reaper cables sticking out of the space concrete? Lazy painting of course!

I always expected Bioware to release a Mass Effect Trilogy set but I would have thought that they would wait until all of the DLC was finished. That way, they could really sell the *complete* trilogy

Thanks for the link I just browsed this. I think this is the most far fetched way to look at the ending.

I find when reading control/synthesis options, people justify by saying "well this is what will bring the most peace etc". To me its just a utopion mirage. We just suffered through TIM's nauseating speeches about how great things can be if we control the reapers. And we rebuked him every part of the way. Why would we suddenly do it now?

If you want Shepard to live....pick destroy!

You paid attention to the details in the game and the subtle hints instead of blasting your way through and finishing as quickly as possible! How dare you B)

People seem to take the very last source of information as the most 'true'. I wonder if the ending had gone 'Speak with Mr. Sparkle -> confront TIM -> make choice' there would be so many control supporters?

I played a whole game and no more replies? Posted Image

I agree with that observation. I also think there would be a lot less Synthesis support with even just a Saren flashsideways.

This is why I dont get the control/snthesis choices. I am also debating this in the which ending is better forum. I didnt play ME1 (yet  -ps3 user here) but we get thrown in our faces that synthesis a la Saren was a failure, we just watched the great Illusive man fail at control. Were constantly reminded that synthesis and control wont work. So whats with all the "it will bring peace keep everyone alive". No it wont! At the end we see that TIM didnt have entirely wrong motivations. He had a terrible means justify the ends approach but he wanted to control the reapers to end the fight. It didnt work. It wouldnt for Shep.

Destroy FTW! (without space magic :wizard:)

It's odd that the 'definitive' collection is being released before all the DLCs are out, but if they remake 1 & 2 in it (I really hope they don't) there might be some... interesting additions.

Since it'd be very strange for Omega to be after this, it means there's only one DLC after this. So maybe everyone will do one big playthrough with all the DLC except the last? Implications... interesting.

Hey Estebanus! Well, PS3 players will finally get ME1, that's good.

@Blur that seems... odd. Maybe pointless? Why bother releasing all 3 games for the price of one on Halo 4's release day no less? Does it come with DLC?

No word on DLC yet, but it'd be very odd to not include it. I say they're waiting until they announce Omega's date, which is still likely October 30th, one week before this. That leaves only "DLC 3" to be released after. See my post above your first.
