So I guess they'll include all DLCs for ME1/ME2 and run ME1/ME2 on ME3 engine.
Will they also remake the combat system for ME1/ME2?
If so, I'd be interested since it is going to be only around 50 €.
Good investement, since the same amount of money is going to be worthless in the future :/ .

Actually, the ME1 symbol is a big silver "M".

yay for hyper inflation! I just asked Mike if the 3pack would run on new engine

Nothing new under the sun for me. I played the PC version well over 3 times before even touching ME2 and 3. But it will be nice to see minor characters such as Conrad and Kirrahae in my play throughs.

Well, I don't know. Maybe it is better to not buy Omega DLC and buy the whole trilogy, if it already contains Omega.

I'm pretty tempted to trade in my ME1/2/3 copies and get it. I got into Mass Effect too late to get a Collector's Edition.

I want to know if it comes with all the promo stuff, as in the stuff you can't get anymore.

Huh? They are releasing a trilogy pack?! I would definetly get it if it included all the DLC's, plus updated graphics!

PS3 users also get the option of simply downloading ME1 off the PSN network. That's what I'm going to do. I honestly didnt think I'd ever see ME1 on the PS3. Maybe there's hope for cross -platform multiplayer. Would love to outscore my trash talking XBOX friends w/ my geth infiltrator.

No, I doubt they would overhaul the engines, would be awesome and worth the money, but its not going to happen.

I can't understand why they would market this now... It won't come with all DLC (Maybe a pass for future DLC?) and PS3 can just download ME digitally without having to buy the box set.

They don't detail if ME will also come available with BDtS or PS for the Playstation. They don't say if pre-release exclusives will be available for ME2 for xbox and pc (PS3 already have them all, but for a PRICE!). And their version of Mass Effect 3 obviously will not come with all DLC...

A prequel would be so stupid. A non human protagonist that has zero chance at successfully defeating the Reapers would be so pointless and uninspiring. I don't care if EA pushed them to release a trilogy pack with no graphics update. I own all three games and all dlc so it wouldn't be for me, but it might hold interest to some. Obviously ps3 users are getting a win here regardless.

And this cycle pre ME1 would be so dumb too.

Im hoping the existence of books will mean there wont be prequels. I hope BW continues the story with or without Shepard.

If they were genuine, why not just re-release ME1 for PS3? ME2 and ME3 already run on PS3 so why not do that? It seems obvious that this offer appeals more to PS3 Players.

Why would we buy this?

There is no extra content

The ME3 DLCs (and possible all of the ME2 DLCs) will not be included EC will be obviously

Nothing is changing/being added/removed

The only benefit I can see is that you can play ME1 on PS3 and have one case for all of your discs.

I bought the LOTR Extended Editions (after I purchased the regular DVDs) because their value was the extra content they added. These games don't add extra content - what is the point?

 So the Operation Patriot success debriefing again mentions that the Reapers are adopting a new type of offense in the war.  This shift in strategy wouldn't be because they want to set a trap or anything... right? The Crucible is well on its way to completion by now but I'm sure that has nothing to do with the Reapers' new tactics...
