Ok, ME1 could go for $6. ME2 for $9. They are awesome games but they are still old ones. + about $24 for ME3 (or even less, like $18, because the market is oversaturated already). That gives $33. If DLC is included for all games, add about $15 for a total of $48.

DLC for all 3 games is much more as they don't go down in pricing.

They should then... Posted Image

Sure, but just check the DA:O DLCs, if you look at the PS3 pricing (as they are direct $ prices) we have $53.92 for all of them (+39.99 for Awakening if you get it directly here over the DLC page)
The Ultimate Edition on Steam (which got all of them) costs only $29.99

The choices are inside Shepard's mind as a means of indoctrination, the two wrong choices would provide more options, one that seems too good to be true and another that would seem viable and the destroy choice is the part of Shepard's psyche that is fighting. What happens in both the control and synthesis endings? He/she gets disintegrated into a husk-like color and the eyes in both become just like Saren's and TIM's...in other words he/she would become indoctrinated. In Destroy, Shepard's eyes are clear and sure.

Why is Shepard being indoctrinated so important to the ;reapers? Because for one Shepard is an inspiration to the resistance...people give Shepard respect and believe in Shepard. It would be like going for the queen in chess or sniping a general off their horse. Also I believe over the series of all the games, Harbinger becomes obsessed with trying to break Shepard, his/her resistance to indoctrination intrigues and in some ways infuriates Harbinger.

Also, if they indoctrination Shepard, then they could make Shepard shut down or pick whatever option they wanted Shepard to choose.

ls that what IT suggests, really? That's what this thread is about? Six months here and I had no.idea you people were so crazy.

Oh, its been awhile since we got someone to come in here and randomly insult us...I'm pretty sure everything I just said was perfectly viable and believable. But I suppose you paid absolutely no attention to the codex entries on indoctrination or the fact that indoctrination is either referred to directly or alluded to in the entire me3 game more so than in any of the other games. Or are you just one of those players that doesn't actually read the datapads?

Edit: Also, apparently you don't read the OP that has all the compiled circumstantial evidence both weak and strong that could've easily explained in more detail than what I did, in which I was responding to your main inquiry...

I don't know where you buy games but usually old games are around 20 bucks in most places...ME1 is debatable but me2 is about there and me3 would be at least 40 still...

ME1 goes for $12 on Amazon and ME2 goes for $7 there. Strange that ME2 is cheaper but nevertheless 7+12+26 (let's give it for ME3) = $45. I'm talking about the PC Standard versions.

I would rather compare it to Origin's pricing. Also ME1 is way cheaper there. Even about half of Steam's price.

Is that for new or used on amazon, or user stores? Anyways I was mostly going by console prices but yeah. For someone playing the series for the first time I think 60 for all three isn't so bad.

40 bucks for a 2.5-year old expansion compared to $30 for a much better deal on Steam. Posted Image Are they trying to defy economy? lol

The ME1 and ME2 prices are for user stores. I took $26 for ME3 off the top of my head (the Xbox 360 version costs $27 so I guess a more accurate price for the PC one should be around $18 and not $40 that is listed for PC Download).

Anyway, if I was new to Mass Effect, I'd definitely get the Trilogy Pack. Since I'm not new, well, I have to think about it. Posted Image

Huh.. http://thundermods.n...Ilos_Garrus.mp4 sorry for no YT, somehow it says it doesn't recognize the codec though it's the same I've always used.
Anyways, what Garrus said, also why does it seem like some kind of metal is growing over the threes in the beackground? It's interesting how it looks combined with the organic stuff growing all over the tech on that planet.
Also what's weird on Ilos is you have this "heartbeat" sound. I always imagined it as such but I just recorded it (as I wanted the Vigil track with it, as it's just sooo good) I noticed there are in fact 3 beats each time, two major ones, and one minor just after the second. Also why is Vigil brown? Any other Prothean tech we see is green, even Vendetta/Victory.

Interesting news about the triple pack. I've got everything bar Leviathan for PC already, but I'd be sorely tempted by the PS3 version, but IF and only IF they implement IT in the last DLC, Shep crawls out of that damn pile of rubble, and has a proper showdown with Harbinger. Seriously I've had enough of this grimdark nonsense - I want my happy ending!

Do you think this release corresponds to the Jack-o-lantern easter egg in the mp maps?

Agreed. Or atleast the paragon lines. The refuse speech was done much better by Mark though, and I've heard broshep is the way to go for a renegade playthrough.

It’s possible. It could also be linked to the box of fireworks we find in Leviathan, 5th November is Guy Fawkes night/Bonfire night here in the UK and I think it’s celebrated in Canada too but don’t quote me on that. I know it’s celebrated in some of the Commonwealth nations.

Yeah that seems about right. I've watched other people play broshep and that playthrough is just as good. But from the beginning of my ME experience I've always felt shepard should be a woman :D I don't know why.

I'm pretty sure that'll be for Omega, on October 30th. There's a lot pointing to it, and the box set adds even more. And if they do have all the DLC in the box set, then there'd only be one left, as they said the final DLC will be 1st Quarter 2013.

That's got my attention Posted Image

My two playthroughs (same character) have been default Soldier MaleShep, but I want to do a full Adept playthrough, and I'll probably do it as FemShep. It's too bad you can't use ME3 FemShep in the first two, though I'd settle for a very good recreation of her Posted Image

THAT is definitely like a heartbeat, but mechanic. As for the trees, they really look like they have something "techy" growing over them. It could be just the shaders and stuff being too "bloomy" but it looks off.

I like the idea of tech growing over organics. Creepy. Slowly taking over.

Early synthesis? Finished techplant that is taking over? Absorbing it? Just a taste of what Shepard might do to the whole galaxy in tghe future. Yuck.

My breakfast already tastes better.

Or maybe the Prothean crucible was finished and they chose synthesis but it didn’t work as planned?

Also Ilos always creeped me out with that heart beat sound, almost like the planet was alive.

I always think it's funny when IT naysayers complain that if it's true then they're being punished for making the wrong choice...when all they'd have to do in order to change it is just play the last mission again lol Besides, its their fault for getting indoctrinated :P
