Apparently it doesn't need evidence, because it's the truth. That immediately lost my support. I think he's just embarassing himself now. It's a shame, I like the old Hellish, and he will be missed.

The only arguement I heard in support of it was something like "enemies don't come in 11 waves in real life". Of course they don't, but if that's enough to say it's a simulation, then every mulitplayer ever is a simulation

Yeah, the "Whether you believe this or not is irrelevant, it's true" (proceeds to provide no evidence whatsoever) attitude was very off putting. But, I've enjoyed Hellish's posts for a long time prior to this recent ... shift, so I'll at least check out the next episode.

I agree.  Too many people fawning over him has gotten to his head.  I hope that doesn't happen to Arian next.

When I disagreed with that ridiculous MP theory, he told me all my posts were "screaming with subtext that I want more info" but I'm not getting any.  Despite my... let's go with "assertive" attitude in general, I'm rarely actually offended or angry.  But that self-congratulatory dimestore psychology idiocy did it.

Exactly my thoughts on the subject. Actually I was one of the first of who he told. Myself and Jade. He got the same reaction as your reply. Though I was quite polite to him, he seemed to be quite angry we didn't believe his every word. He will be missed.

Always nice to hear someone has to profile himself, telling half of the people with the promise not to talk about it. If he would be interested in anything else but fishing for compliments he wouldn't do it in this childish manner.

It's a poorly made ending and fans wanted to believe the ending was their fault. "I just didn't understand the ending. Maybe the whole point is.... Shepard's indoctrinated! That's... that could have been brilliant if they made it the point of the ending and not some weird god-child talking nonsense to justify cycles of genocide...."

It's just sad. That ending doesn't deserve the fans who honestly feel they must have missed something so huge to the whole lore of the story. And there are small arguments for IT that could make sense. But trust me now that EC has come and went without confirming IT...

They never meant Shepard to be indoctrinated. They just messed up the ending.
