Yeah, the "Whether you believe this or not is irrelevant, it's true" (proceeds to provide no evidence whatsoever) attitude was very off putting. But, I've enjoyed Hellish's posts for a long time prior to this recent ... shift, so I'll at least check out the next episode.

No, I was referring to his original "lulz MP is fake guyz" topic. Struck me as arrogant, dismissive, and unwilling to engage in a back and forth on any level. It seems that attitude has continued. Ah well.

Hellish may be seeking attention or "listening to the evidence" as a friend put it-but he's a good guy who has always been willing to thoroughly answer any question I've asked him. It sucks to see it's come to this

Hey everyone! Friends, new faces, and lurkers alike, I hope you are all doing well. Turbo and I have been working hard to bring you Choose Wisely episode 2. While unfortunately I wont be able to release it today, I do have the next best thing. The trailer and release date!


Choose Wisely Episode 2 Trailer

I do apologize for not providing the episode when we originally planned, but we had some unforeseen difficulties, such as Turbo's main PC dying. We are also continuing to refine and streamline our production process, and will likely be expanding the production team to 3 people for episode 3, to make sure we can hit our target date of the last Friday of each month.

I personally think this episode is going to be well worth the wait, and I hope you will all agree. You can expect a lot of cool stuff from it, like:

Deep exposition on a wide range of topics and themes related to Indoctrination symptoms
~30 minutes in length, fully narrated
Another great soundtrack, including more music from Jack Wall

And just like with Episode 1, we will explore several tidbits that are rarely/never discussed here in the IT thread, so hopefully there will be something new for everyone! 

Thanks for your patience and support, and I hope that I will see you all next Thursday. If anyone would like to reach me before then for any reason, I am always available by PM.

YESSSSSS!!!!!! You know how I feel!!! Thank god!!!!! Those were my exact thoughts!!!! 

The only arguement I heard in support of it was something like "enemies don't come in 11 waves in real life". Of course they don't, but if that's enough to say it's a simulation, then every mulitplayer ever is a simulation

Here's my opinion on the whole Hellish thing. I do think his attitude changed a lot, and some of the stuff he says is utter nonsense, but that shouldn't keep you from listening to some of the points he makes that are actually legitimate. I think the old phrase is the devil will feed you a sea of truth to get you to drink an ounce of poison. Well, here it's the opposite. There's a few ounces of truth in Hellish's sea of lies. For instance, his multiplayer being a simulation idea is a thought provoking theory. However, at the moment it adds no important revelation to the ending. He probably has other decent points too that may in fact add something to the ending. I would encourage people to try and ignore his condescending attitude and points that have no basis, in favor of looking for what could actually have some weight.

Nope.  We can't stand each other.  Ask some of the long time IT'ers, it goes back to thread 1.  The difference is, I go out of my way to avoid that pustule, whereas it takes every opportunity to antagonize me.  I am not the one to "tone it down".  That... disease actually mocked me over a disability I mentioned in a post to Arian, which it knows nothing about, and I'm the one whose told to tone it down for a censored word when I keep getting antagonized?  No.

You're right, I don't know the whole story. But it seems generally okay to other people.

Good points, and I will watch the new video. As for the MP thing, while there's little evidence for, and a decent amount against it, the main reason I don't see it as being a possibility is what I bolded above. What would be the point? What would it change?

I was actually thinking about doing an epic troll on Hellish and posting his theory as my own and acting exactly like he does. Like if someone was going to argue with it I was just going to say You can believe what you want but it's the truth! Then I was going to laugh it up at the negative response it would get from people. I was convinced by someone with better judgement that Hellish probably didn't have that coming, and I agreed. Still though, many laughs could of been had.

Now that would just be evil. I respect Hellish too much to ever do that or allow someone to do that. I wouldn't want it done to me. <_<

I can't stand the idea of control being a valid ending. The IT thread is one of the few places I can go where I don't have to listen to people use totally illogical arguments about how synthesis is fine and control is fine. So when I hear paxxton going off about it constantly, eventually it got on my nerves. I also cannot stand Estebanus. The whole thread seemed to unite against me when I got into an argument with them, and that caused me to go full troll mode. I do actually regret going troll but what's done is done.
