The geth prime in London said they 're fighting for their future. They can't have it if they are dead.

He also said there will be no further compromise with the Old Machines.

In literally the same line you're quoting.

Yes, and that they won't relinguish their sentience. But if they are dead, they can't decide on that.

Really? Last I checked that was called sacrifice. Especially since both said they would prefer death to compromise with the reapers.

Its too bad Casey Hudson never described ME3's theme as 'victory through sacrifice' or anythi- waitaminute!

Actually, when did he say this specifically? I know he supports destroy!

lol I have never seen the conversation with the geth prime and I doubt other have either. So when someone cites the conversation, I just take their word for it. You won't gain credibility by intentionally manipulating quotes like that paxxton.

I see 'relinquishing sentience' as meaning 'become enslaved' more than meaning 'dying.'

Tis like Shepard says in the defeatist refuse ending. They die free.

Moreover, the keyword there it "their". They fight for their future, not one created by reapers or one with reapers. And they will fight to the death.

Here you go Frank.
There are some other interesting lines in there. Particularly the ones about FREAKING COMBAT!

LOL. Maybe they think they are doing good, uplifting blood and flesh to a new form of existence. The problem is Shepard haven't received permission from those people to perform it but, yknow, a war like that in ME3 - there's no time, it changes everything, because Shepard has to make a choice right away, he chooses or he dies (with everybody else in the Galaxy).

I'm not manipulating anything. This is what he said in London.

Which is why destroy is justified.

Yeah, but still Destroy takes everything away from them. They won't have a chance to build houses on Rannoch. Posted Image

To be fair, no amount of desperation in the war will ever be enough to convince me synthesis and control are justifiable.

And refuse is never justifiable. It is just giving up.

OK, Synthesis is hard to justify on moral grounds but Control is about defeating the Reapers and gaining their assets instead of blowing them up.

And, yes, it's all a dream, so mostly it doesn't matter anyway.

Even BioWare surely realized how vastly superior destroy was. Thats probably why they abitrarily decided EDI and the geth had to die from it too. It could have just been a virus that only targets Reapers or something, but they decided to make it some kind of emp that only fries synthetics somehow, but apparently leaves ships damaged but in working condition.

Except in control you agree that the Reapers are right and need to stay around to impose order. You dont defeat them, you adopt their ideals.

Negative. There can be no retreat. NO RETREAT! No stepping back. No stepping  forward, and no destroying reaper forces. NEGATIVE! No defeating the reapers! No defeating the reapers! Innocent people die!

I just realized I havent watched this week's Rooster Teeth Minecraft Let's Play!

I now have something to occupy my attention for 30 minutes!

Banshee, do you watch the RT Let's Plays? If not, you should. They're awesome.
