He said 5 bonus weapons. Sounds less important to me. Like "Oh you have the CE, that's okay their bonus weapons."Simon_Says wrote...
You -could- just get the Collector's Edition to get them. So I doubt they'll be part of a seperate pack. Probably going to introduce weapons from the multiplayer back into the singleplayer.Mythanblood wrote...

Nah I bet it's these:

It would be far easier to just release the N7 Pack to public then including those weapons in the firefight pack. So the 5 weapons being the n7 weapons is, imo, unlikely.

The new single player DLC is not free, and you are surprised by that?
Honestly, i was surprised when they made EC free, i still think it was the best move they couldhave made. But still, EA won't let them make free **** forever.

Hey, at this point, I think they've earned the money. They made the EC to quiet the worst of the detractors, and even if IT isn't true, it at least makes the endings passable. And they made all the MP packs free, which is VERY different from most MP packs, I might add.

I mean when we download the DLC it will use our save game from before the Cerberus Base mission right?
Curious if it would actually change anything about the ending, except for just another lame war asset.

If there was a chance to reveal IT, EC was it. We're curious to see what Leviathan brings. But by no means should we expect it to reveal or deny IT conclusively.

Seriously, it's been so many months now, and there's no hints on they're editing the ending, and they're made a statement that the ending you've recieved in ME3 now is final, they're not changing it. There is no tie-in to Indoctrination Theory. You'd be desperate and delusional if you were.
Accept the ending as it is or make your own ending, but don't expect some sort of retcon and reworks on the existing ending. Alot of the playerbase is perfectly fine with the ending they've recieved and can call it a day. Jeopardizing that playerbase in the sake for people who are desperately trying to clinge to what-could have been ending is really not a very smart move by Bioware, and anyone with a 3 digit IQ should realise this
Don't like the ending? Fine, it's all subjective regardless- but don't expect the big plot twists. For all what's worth, ME3 had it's share of that already, so I don't see the whole "But herp derp Bioware makes lots of Plot-twists!", ye- but it's kind of overdone if they'e even shredding an Indoctrination-Theory sample into the mixture of it. It'll cause more backlash then rewards from the majority of players anyway.
People didn't like how Battlestar:Galactica ended, but for frak sake, it's not the end of the world, and there's no plot-twist. It's a conclussion and people should let it go, not start digging in every chapter, episode, dialogue for some subtle-reference to something the series made a statement about, and try to say "Oh, but there's another-season coming, and the last-episode was just a mental-battle!" it's like, pretty bad writing, and it'll make the viewers go abit of a "lolwat", since the majority of people don't pay THAT much attention to the detail of dialogue from several-games. (Which had different people working, and the story-arc was changed from ME1-ME2 and ME3), so ye- whatever.
The DLC alone is probably going to be fine and dandy, I've enjoyed each piece of DLC from ME so far, but I honestly do not expect them to have any-tie in and impact the endings at ALL, that would be really REALLY stupid.

Yay! Raider! The firefight pack has an SMG, what looks like a new AR on Shepard's back as well as a Reegar Carbine!

and "five bonus weapons to use in the fight to Take Back Earth!"
Why is this capitalized?

It's not to be magnanimous. The content those packs provide are locked upon launch. If they charged for the packs themselves, they'd be dividing the gaming community with each new MP pack released. They make more money in the long run from microtransactions with "content" technically available to all for free. At any rate, as to SP, I agree. Not sure about the weapons pack yet.Dwailing wrote...

I'm starting to wonder if Arian might have been right and the war won't end in ME3. What I'm starting to think is tha ME3 is Exactly What It Says On The Tin, the battle to take back Earth. After that, another game will come out as we retake the whole galaxy.
