ME3 there is no evidence that anyone but Shep hears the conversation with the reaper on Rannoch or many of the other reaper noises in various scenes and there's reaper sounds in the dreams.

Wrong, sorry. Garrus sends you a message saying he is glad you were the one to talk to it through the app I forget the name of.

I still like the "Harbinger's only talking to Shepard" idea though

"IT with 70% less crazy."

That comment cracks me up.  What's crazy about IT, other then what people assume about it?  That whole Deception Theory is basically IT with more explaination as to why the Catalyst is lying and the Crucible isn't what it appears to be.

No need to apologise  - I don't have an iThing so I can't get hold of that app. Which makes me feel like there must be loads of little tidbits like that which I'm missing out on. Grrrr.

Yeah, I don't actually either. Posted Image

Just got back from a run. What's going on?

Did we get anyone to the beam?

Negative. My entire force was decimated. Except me obviously. I had to dodge some red lasers!

So Leviathan did keep his word and the orbs worked if you charged to the beam. Posted Image How did TIM react to seeing you instead of Shepard?

An interesting idea is that we only know of these things via:
-optional dialogue, scenes, audio in the game, NOT the main story or missions (even the dead Reaper in ME2 had its indoctrination videos as optional items to inspect)
-the comics and books
-DLC (Overlord, Arrival, Leviathan)

I think it strengthens IT that this is the case - the idea being that only the more observant players will pick up on these clues, and that you need to understand the ME universe and be really paying attention to realise what it adds up to. Telegraphing it via the main plot or putting it front and centre before the ending would spoil the whole effect. It also rewards repeated playthroughs - I'm doing my 3rd and 4th trilogy runs now and keep spotting things I missed before.

Most of the clues being in optional content is often used as an anti-IT argument, but it's another one that's easy to turn on its head. It's a bit like the Usual Suspects or similar stories - most of the clues to what is really going on are peripheral to the main action and repeated viewings are actually necessary to get the most out of the film.

I am. I'm fighting right now actually, though I'd appreciate some back up. Different people explaining something in different ways works much better than just me.

I also find it very interesting how a lot of it is DLC. Because only people who really enjoy the story will buy DLC, and because it contains things they thought of adding  after the fact, or in many cases, during ME3's development!

A lot about the Leviathans as allies bothers me. But this bit bothered me the most.

"Here, take these control orbs and distribute them amongst all of your military forces. We totally promise that we'll only use them against the reapers and that we are in no way scheming to reassert our dominance of all sentient lifeforms in the galaxy once Harby and co. have been seen off".

Seems legit.

He was all like "I need you to belive" then shot himself. I ran into some 8-year old kid who offered me 3 choices, but I used Overload on him. Then I nuked the citadel.

It also appears when Shepard talks about the child, except maybe in the War Room scene after Thessia.

Oh and its all over the place in Leviathan, I think.

My pleasure. There's a lot of this stuff here. Three pages full of clues and evidence. Some of it a little outdated, some of it new.

I kind of gave up on it, I just couldn't write well enough about the closure aspect. But if you want to see it, I can post it. It still has some good stuff.

Legion Femshep romance. But make it even more awkward than Joker EDI. I'd say Femshep Mordin romance but she'd break his hips. I'd say Eve Broshep romance but she'd...oh wait just used that joke.

You forgot to add a BroShep-FemShep romance. They'd surely get along with each other.

LOL! I actually thought about making a funny video about this a while ago. Just replace the LI with Shepard's model and insert some appropriate lines. It would be kind of funny.
