I don't believe in the reveal, but the stargazer scene keeps giving me hope that we may yet see Shepard return in ME4. I don't want to think it, because I don't want my hopes to get crushed, but I can't helping that's what it does to me.

I don't understand this part. You don't believe in a reveal yet you want a reveal? By "don't believe" do you mean "don't think that a reveal will happen"? In my opinion, if there is no reveal/no closure for Shepard in any upcoming DLC/Games, it will be the most disappointing gaming experience in my entire life. 5 years, 100+ hours of gameplay invested to have no closure and no definitive ending. That would be disgraceful. (Assuming everything stays as it is)(IT is the perfect counter to this, it gives hope and uses clues from the entire series that it is not over yet).

IT is a valid interpretation

No ending DLC

No Shepard in ME4

At least ONE of these is a lie

TIM hiding behind something makes more sense then Anderson being there.

How does Anderson run past Shepard to the beam to get on the citadel. Since Harbinger left, who stops Anderson's team from going up to the citadel? Or is Anderson all alone on the beam run? Because that makes NO sense....

Yeah true.

Speaking of which... someone told me that, near the end, the Prothean VI tells you that TIM is on his way to tell the Reapers about the Crucible project.

This would explain why TIM isn't at the Cerberus base (though he may have just seen Shep coming and legged it), but more importantly, does at least give TIM a reason to be on the Citadel.

Any confirmation/rejection of any of this?

If OMEGA DLC is just filler like Leviathan, and there is no final dlc reveal....well I think Bioware is going to find a second wave of vitriol when a large chunk of ITers and IT supporters jump ship to bad writing. When the DLC cycle is over and we're left at basically the exact same place we've been since March...yeah it might get a little ugly again. EA needs to put their greed to work and force Bioware to pick what's canon. I hope for Bioware's sake there is a plan because I would really really hate seeing them fall flat on their faces.

Yes, the VI tells you that TIM went to the Citadel. No, that does not explain how he was able to sneak up behind Shepard and Anderson.

Huh?  Why couldn't he sneak up behind them?  I don't see why this needs an explanation.

I don't believe that Leviathan was filler at all. It offered plenty of reasons as to not take the desicion room seriously. I think Omega will do something similar: offer clues that everything is not what it seems at the ending, and don't take it literally.

So do you just assume the galaxy wins after picking destroy, Bill? Or is that irrelevant?

It's implied we will win...

I mean that I believe Bioware when they say the endings will stay as they are. I don't believe in Project X or a DLC IT reveal. I think they will leave it ambiguous forever.

But then when I see the stargazer scene, it makes me wonder if we will see Shepard return in ME4, and if we will have a continuation to the end of ME3 after all.

I edited that post. What I meant was if There is no reveal at the end, then yes Leviathan and Omegs will be filler

Leviathan was anything but filler.  You could say that it was filler only if you watched the final conversation on the youtube.   It had a lot of story there not really directly connected to the quest of finding leviathans.

And besides... If Omega is not the IT reveal it will turn ugly? Oh, rly? Why?
I remember people saying if the Leviathan in not the big IT reveal then it will turn ugly - it didn't,
I remember people saying if the EC is not the big IT reveal  it will turn ugly - it didn't.
The truth is - it wil not turn algy anymore. Bioware is in the clear - damage is done and dealt with the EC. They are back on track with their planned schedule, and that is it.

I said if there is no final resolution at the end of the dlc cycle then Leviathan and omega will be irrelevant to the story and therefore will be filler

I thought the last one was 'ME3 is the end of Shepard's story'?

It'd be like how RvB episode 100 was the end of the Blood Gulch Chronicles. The show had more seasons, just the focus of the story slightly changed.

Shep could be in ME4, and it could be the story of other people, but with you still controlling Shep.

We all have our own opinion on whether dlc is required. I still think there is a lot of people on the fence between IT and bad writing. I have a feeling that if it wasn't for the possibility of IT a lot of people wouldn't be interested in mass effect anymore. That's just me though

As long as I have Shepard, that may be okay.

Isaac-

It certainly wouldn't match the scale or intensity, but I've spoken to many ITers and many on the fence who say they would wash their hands of Bioware if there is no answer, or if literal becomes canon.

I don't really get this. Shep is essentially YOU. It's hardly even a character. It's an avatar for the player to move in the world and plot. The next PC will feel just as good as Shep since it will be essentially YOU again ;P
