Just remember that IT isn't really allowed to be discussed in the other threads. IT thread has been around for 6 months. Nobody in here is interested in hearing someone tell us why the literal endings are so great etc. We've discussed that over and over. So I don't think the reaction to someone coming in and saying IT is wrong, no reasons why, just pro ending crap we've heard a thousand times, is exactly unwarranted. We arw here to discuss IT. Arguments against it, and different versions are welcome, but this is not the thread to discuss the merits of the literal endings
This is the IT thread, you know?

If Shep_breathes.mov is an easter egg and it actually occurs in all 3 endings (high EMS?), then the Matrix is actually just a very short dream, and Shepard is pulled up from the rubble regardless.
But it doesn't. It only plays in destroy.
I said easter egg.
What I mean is that Shepard might just survive in all three endings, even if its not shown yet. Shepard breathing in highEMSDestroy could be a very very short easter egg to tell people 'hey, Shepard CAN survive, just wait and see' not 'Shepard DOES survive ONLY in this ending'.
It's symbolic of his mind surviving intact, and him living on to finish the fight.
But I can still see Control and Synthesis resulting in him surviving, but lacking the mental integrity to 'finish the fight' like he otherwise would.
No the game files are flagged as 'Shepardalive' 'Sheparddead'
Shepard only lives in HighEMS Destroy.

Yeah, we know, but it's arguing against a brick wall when the other side isn't willing to concede points.

Thats my point. Whats its face just came in on some pro-ending preaching. If I wanted to discuss the value of the literal endings I would do it in the correct thread. IT thread isnt the place to preach the greatness of syntherape

In ME4, you'll get a whole new bunch of characters. If you picked Control, there'll be a Reaper called The Shepard.demersel wrote...
Guys. thought about how mass effect 4 might start - you import a save. Only saves that have more that 4000 ems are good for import - in the beginning shepard gets pulled out of the rubble by allies - and is woken up - the war is still rages on. The final choice have impact on some events of the game later on - (how shepard reacts to some events, and how is he more or less succeptable to further influence by the reapers). Refuse - saves cannot be imported - sheaprd dies before he's saved.
The breath scene after destroy - shepard waking up by himself right before he is rescued. - a hint to things that are yet to come, and a reward for players who did not get duped. synthesys and control saves will still be able to play, but they will know that they were have been tricked once, and will have penalties to further events and be more succeptable to indoctrination, as weel as having other diolog option now and then, which they have not control on, that push reaper agenda.

So, Banshee and I were watching the Earth DLC trailer again, because it's awesome, and he noticed something very interesting. I'll get the that in a second, though. The trailer is mostly made out of SP and MP footage, but there are a couple scenes which are brand new.
In London there are three scenes: a shot of the N7 & Anderson group standing in a circle, which then cuts to a long shot of the same, with Reaper forces closing in. Then, at the end of the trailer, it shows the same circle again.
In Rio, it shows a Shuttle flying in, and then later, a squad of a Destroyer, Fury, Demolisher, and Slayer jump out of the shuttle on the walkway on the waterfall side, near the middle building. Also, the scene earlier of the same four most likely is part of this as well.
Back to the big important find! This!
That's right, four Cruisers over London! There is no way this is taking place before the fleets arrive, and certainly not during the final battle in game. Also, it looks like this:
Hmm...
All credit to Banshee for finding this
Also, while I'm at it, I'd like to mention a few more interesting post-end type things from these two trailers:
This is the base for the post-ending Rio idea I came up with:
Look at the way each character moves and acts; the Destroyer is Shepard, the Fury is Anderson, and the Demolisher and Slayer and Squadmate 1 and 2.
"Anderson" turns and says something to everyone.
Camera zooms in on "Shepard", who looks around. This is pretty much the same as all of the "just about to take control of Shepard before a mission" scenes ever.
Also, Hammerhead!
