True, but even Gravemind said the same thing, and considering the Flood wiped the Forerunners out  (well technically they wiped themselves out to stop the Flood)  You'd think an entity as old as Gravemind supposedly is would be able to tell.

It's all just one big confusing mess it seems...

Considering the humans and the prophets were allied during the Humans' war with the Forerunners, you'd think the Prophets would have recognized them, too.

Is this posted somewhere? because I've not heard of this.  Ugh, why change things in such a way 343?  And BW too since the Dark Energy plotline sounds like it was far more interesting than the whole "destroy you so you won't be destroyed" thing.

Still, really intrigued by Leviathan.

They had an alliance, according to the Halo Wiki.

I believe that info comes from the Halo: Cryptum book.

Ah I see.  Sounds more interwsting than humans being Forerunner anyway.  Still, it does create a bit of a plothole with Halo 3, which is still annoying imo.

he really is the caboose of the IT thread. Absolutely nothing follows from that link regarding a new area of the citadel.

What would honestly be the point of Bioware adding DLC's containing things powerful enough to destroy the reapers if the Crucible ACTUALLY worked.

Edit: For the weapons I think it would have been more fitting for the MP N7 weapons (typhoon/pirahna) to be added to SP.

Just remember guys when Leviathan is released don't get your hopes up too much. Arrival was not the first but the last DLC and the real end to ME2. We haven't gotten our "Arrival" yet. Leviathan is going to start filling in some of the holes.

To use an analogy the ME3 ending is like a wheel of fortune game and we have a five word phrase on the wall and only have two vowels on the board. We are not even close to the: "I'd like to solve the puzzle Pat"

The ending of ME2 was when Shepard was debriefed by TIM. Arrival was post-ending.

He's right this time -- Explore uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel, interact with brand new characters, unlock the AT-12 Raider shotgun and M-55 Argus Assault Rifle and discover more about the mysterious history of the Reapers.

Mass Effect getting any kind of cue from the Halo universe scares the bejeesus out of me. Starting with the rogue AI foreshadowing we got in the extended cut, no doubt to be expanded upon in Leviathan. But something about humans being a fallen ancient race... well. That takes the biscuit. The fact is, to understand the halo story, you have to look at a wiki. Says it all.

Was it said anywhere if the Leviathan DLC is going to confirm/deny the IT?

Or if it's NOT going to confirm/deny the IT?

It is, I should quote "
Explore uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel, interact with brand new characters,.." So, any questions?

I guess I think of things differently... like Broken Steel was the ending for me to Fallout 3. That's kind of how I think.

Oh ho? And you know who your group reminds me of? Young Earth Creationists. Incapable of accepting evidence before your eyes, incapable of accepting others with opinions differing from your own, and unwilling to accept that which does not confine to your narrow worldveiw of the universe.

As in, you know, idiots, of the ****ing stupid variety.

Want to try again, mother****er?

Yes, I'm in a bad mood and I'm gonna share it. Buckle up mother****ers, cause it's gonna get loud.

Am I the only one who likes Arian when he's in a bad mood?

Nope. You aren't.
