Ah I see. Sounds more interwsting than humans being Forerunner anyway. Still, it does create a bit of a plothole with Halo 3, which is still annoying imo.byne wrote...

True, but even Gravemind said the same thing, and considering the Flood wiped the Forerunners out (well technically they wiped themselves out to stop the Flood) You'd think an entity as old as Gravemind supposedly is would be able to tell.
It's all just one big confusing mess it seems...
Considering the humans and the prophets were allied during the Humans' war with the Forerunners, you'd think the Prophets would have recognized them, too.
Still, really intrigued by Leviathan.
They had an alliance, according to the Halo Wiki.
I believe that info comes from the Halo: Cryptum book.

Edit: For the weapons I think it would have been more fitting for the MP N7 weapons (typhoon/pirahna) to be added to SP.

The ending of ME2 was when Shepard was debriefed by TIM. Arrival was post-ending.smokingotter1 wrote...
Just remember guys when Leviathan is released don't get your hopes up too much. Arrival was not the first but the last DLC and the real end to ME2. We haven't gotten our "Arrival" yet. Leviathan is going to start filling in some of the holes.
To use an analogy the ME3 ending is like a wheel of fortune game and we have a five word phrase on the wall and only have two vowels on the board. We are not even close to the: "I'd like to solve the puzzle Pat"

Mass Effect getting any kind of cue from the Halo universe scares the bejeesus out of me. Starting with the rogue AI foreshadowing we got in the extended cut, no doubt to be expanded upon in Leviathan. But something about humans being a fallen ancient race... well. That takes the biscuit. The fact is, to understand the halo story, you have to look at a wiki. Says it all.

I guess I think of things differently... like Broken Steel was the ending for me to Fallout 3. That's kind of how I think.
