Well in Synthesis nobody cheers. It's like they saw there hero die.
In Control Shepard will lose his mind in the end.
In Destroy everyone is cheering like there is no tommorow.
Refuse nothing happence. They lose the will to fight.
Also remember when Shepard died in ME2, and as you explore the galaxy again, you find out that everyone took Shepard's death pretty hard.
Garrus wen't down a dark path.
Liara got her hands dirty.
Wrex went back to tuchanka to gather his people to lead them against the Reapers.
Tali grew up, and took charge of her own squad.
Ash lost hope when Shepard died, and so did everyone else.
I mean hell Shepard is the only reason they stayed on the Normandy.
Also Shepard is what we call the a Hero.
I mean Shepard is not a soldier anymore. Shepard is a symboll to the Galaxy.

Liara is mostly definitely all woman. Female VA, feminine mannerisms, and of course female body type.
Same goes for EDI.
Vega is the proverbial manly man, man.
I could see playing as them for a dlc, but not a whole game.
No disagreement here

Also,I think they made the BF3 soilder a rare character aswell.
Yep, but I had that since launch
If they release Collector MP/Collector Rifle and Omega on the 30th, they could release the Chakram Launcher, Punisher, and Adas in the next three weeks (9th/16th/23rd), followed by the Valkyrie for N7 Day.
And if this is the last MP DLC, maybe they'll release the other four N7 guns as URs on N7 Day as well!
Then we'd have everything!

Some of these are reasons why I'm against Shepard dying at all times... but I'm not against using the enemy's technology to defeat the enemy, and I believe that side was rather badly presented in ME3.masster blaster wrote...

No disagreement hereI meant from a lore perspective they could be like say that, since you're playing as an asari, you don't need gender selection. From a player's point of view, however, yeah, female for sure.
"But Liara is actually monogendered.
It's funny how it worked. Something to think about:
The media is all like: OMG lesbians in a video game that's so wrong! But alien sex? Sure, that seems perfectly normal.
Not that I have a problem with either mind you; quite the opposite.

Or go on Xbox, play with me and Blur and discuss 4 cruisers! It is the ideal solution.

@ Veuneurs
The only squad member that everyone has is Liara.
Couple things...
I doubt Bioware ever makes a major game that doesn't allow the player to choose his sex.
Anything involving being more than one protagonist (male/female) is double the work.
Anything involving Shepard or this cycle in the near future has to account for three games worth of choices. That's already tough production wise. Having multiple protagonists as well is basically impossible
That's why I said that I see this for a DLC, not a full game. Play for one hour or two a squadmember and see the result of your choice in the game, especially at the starkid, Shepard indoctrinated/dead or alive. That's just an idea, Shepard seems really in a bad health on the breath scene, I don't know if he/she can continue to fight just after waking up of indoctrination. So, if even in choosing destroy you have to play a certain squadmember for a while, I don't think it's impossible to make for a DLC. But the problem is that you will don't play Shepard on the possibly IT real ending, that would be weird on a certain point of view and some people will not appreciate it at all.

The catalyst, AKA, the Guardian.
Q: What could he be guarding?
A: The reapers
In Control, Shepard supposedly becomes the new 'Guardian' right?
The answer is in the Control ending.
Just replace every instance of 'the many' with 'the Reapers', and you'll see what I mean.
Eternal. Infinite. Immortal. The man I was used these words, but only now do I truly understand them. And only now do I understand the true extent of the sacrifice. Through his death I was created. Through my birth, his thoughts are freed. They guide me now, give me reason, direction. Just as he gave direction the the ones who followed him, the ones who helped him achieve his purpose. Now my purpose. To give the Reapers hope for a future. To ensure that all have a voice in their future. The man I was knew that he could only achieve this by becoming something greater. There is power in control. There is wisdom in harnessing the strengths of your enemy. I will rebuild what the Reapers have lost. I will create a future with limitless possibilities. I will protect and sustain. I will act as Guardian for the Reapers. And throughout it all, I will never forget. I will remember the ones who sacrificed themselves so that the Reapers could survive. And I will watch over the ones who live on. Those who carry the memory of the man I once was. The man who gave up his life to become the one who could save the Reapers.

Well, it's been months since the last patch, so it's not surprising that the upcoming patch has been in development for months and is also their largest. The future things is interesting, though. I'm guessing it will add code that will help facilitate the addition of a new enemy faction in MP (Hopefully Collectors). Much like BleedingUranium, I also suspect that IF that's the case, Omega and the next MP DLC will launch simultaneously, so as not to spoil the reveal. NYCC is next weekend, hoping we get announcements then.noobcannon wrote...

Because Shepard isn't indoctrinated. Under IT, the indoctrination attempt doesn't occur until well after he speaks with Vendetta.Xilizhra wrote...
This may be in the thread already, but how do you explain Vendetta referring to Cerberus as "indoctrinated forces," only ever bringing up indoctrination when mentioning Cerberus and never showing indication that Shepard is indoctrinated?

The process of indoctrination has already begun (Probably sometime around the events of Arrival), but true indoctrination, the point at which Shepard either becomes indoctrinated or resists, doesn't occur until the endings.
