Going forever and a day back, isnt time of day kind of odd? Remember the box art? Shep standing in rubble looking up at the heavens in full armor during daylight? Also, lets not forget the N7 armored hand helping up the bare hand on the CE box.

When in the entirety of ME3 has Shepard ever been in full armor fighting on Earth? This recurring imaging has got me thinking that it's not just for feel/effect. Prepare yourselves for the arrival of asskickery.

Yep, and the looking-up-with-a-Valiant-in-front-of-Big-Ben's-tower picture is on the back of the game case, while the Shepard-helping-Shepard-up picture is on the slip-on cover for the CE version! Everyone has to see one or the other every time they put the game in. It's just so in your face!

Going back to the picture, what the hell is that bleeding into the image from the right hand side? At first glimpse it looks like the Bioware B, but rounded at the bottom.

It looks to be an overlay of another part of a city. You can see a bridge shaped thing, and some buildings that look to be far away, but in front of everything, like it's all a reflection. The thing is, there's no reflecting surface

Here it is at it's biggest with the best ratio.

A line of questions that have been bothering me since finishing Leviathan this weekend: the "intelligence" and the "catalyst," are they the same thing? Is Starbrat/Harbinger the "intelligence"? Is the "intelligence" separate from Harbinger, if it's not masquerading as Starbrat?

The best answer is 'actually they did'. I doubt anyone would be here today if no one picked up on the signs. Not many of us put the pieces together without prompting admittedly but the pieces were there.

While not explicitly stated in game, I think most of us believe that the Intelligence and Harbinger are one and the same, and he's the one tricking you.

That new wallpaper is cool and all but a bit odd. I mean, the buildings on the right look like reflections, they're somewhat intangible. Someone on the last page said look near the sun, looks like some kind of dropship breaking through the sky. And some birds (or shattering glass) coming from the building.

Still, it's a nice wallpaper. Like a greeting card, "Shepard, Wish you were here."

I think you got something here, this sounds actually as creepy as the control ending actually is.

Oh, and off topic, but here's what I think they're gonna do for MP releases:

-October 9th, 16th, & 23rd: Chakram Launcher, Punisher, & Adas (order unknown).

-October 30th: Omega (SP), Collectors, & Collector Rifle.

-November 6th (for N7 Day): Valkyrie.

If the next MP DLC turns out to be the last, maybe the Valiant, Crusader, Hurricane, & Eagle on N7 Day too.

November is looking to be a busy month. Paragon Lost (or is that December?), Homeworlds graphic novel (all four comics in one volume), potentially Omega (if not released before then), and whatever MP goodies are left at that point.

Btw, regarding Control and "acting as guardian for the many": The "many" are not the reapers, it becomes evident in the renegade control ending: "I will end the bickering of the many". Control is, in fact, Shepard putting forward the reaper agenda - ending the chaos of the organics.

It's creepy either way!

I just posted a thread about the potential for conventional victory, which may have implications for IT.

Basically, if we believe the Catalyst when it tells us that every Reaper was designed to contain and preserve the essence of an entire civilisation or people, then the loss of a Reaper should be unthinkable.

And the more Reaper capital ships that are lost, the more unsustainable the cycle becomes.

Unless of course, the Catalyst is lying to us, and the Reapers actually preserve nothing of the harvested civilisations...

This image reminds me of The Creation of Adam by Da Vinci. I know it's Shepard's hand but it looks a bit Synthetic. So the message is Organics' own creation helps them survive the Reaper disaster, lending a helping hand.
