Has anyone noticed the transition light ring in the leviathan trailer? (0.25) ))))

The one that serves as a transition to the scene where a Harvester just exploded? Yeah, reminded me a bit of the Dreadnaught explosion in Vancouver.

except it's not - it is edited in between. Very clearly. It is not part of that scene or explosion effect.

edit:   ...or maybe it is. Time wiil tell

Anyone else disappointed that there wasn't a trailer for Leviathan?

There was.

Ok...so why wasn't that on the homepage of ME3 (at least I didn't find it)?!  I was excited just from the leaked dialogue...now this...I will be getting Leviathan!

Was it said anywhere if the Leviathan DLC is going to confirm/deny the IT?

Or if it's NOT going to confirm/deny the IT?

Yknow, that Dreadnought is invincible until Shepard moves too close.

If Shepard had just stood in Vancouver for the entire war, that Dreadnought could have single handedly won the war.

After landing on that planet Cortez won't be able to chicken out again. That was annoying in the main game. He dropped the squad and always found a reason to leave them without support.

I can tell you right now - it is NOT going to either confirm or deny the IT.

It's going to approach the answer only.

I rather see less of him, so he can chicken out all he wants.

I just had a funny thought. I bet a good chunk of us playing Leviathan are going spend a significant amount of time looking for IT clues to the detriment of the story pacing.

Unless you're one of those "has to open every barrel and crate" OCD players (aka RPG fans), than IT clue hunting is just like extra catnip for you.

Somebody called me?

I liked Cortez.

And by the way, it's military SOP for the evac NOT to get tied down in the fighting so that he can worry about getting them out alive, rather than actual fighting.

Damnit, at least he'll have a good reason this time being busy fixing the shuttle.

Sorry, what I meant by transition was an editing transition between different cutscenes for the trailer, not an in-game transition. So I guess it's likely not an in-game transition, as Harvesters already explode quite brightly. The white transition right just might've offered itself well for this scene. Whether intended or not....hm...this must be the first post release trailer not featuring something RedGreenBlue?
So they probably needed some ;)-easter-egg...

Then it's going to have A LOT of problems... Especially if they are going to make the DLC about the Reapers' origins, based on the literal interpetation of the ending's information about the Reapers. And if they'll do that based on something else, they will practically confirm the IT, or any other hallucination theory...

Oh, I'll just hope for the best.

That's a good one for a Mass Effect parody.
