Yeah but what about the reaper cables sticking out of the Citadel rubble guys? Doesnt this not disprove IT? Literal rawr! Smash IT! rawr.

and this is where I would normally post the picture that shows the massive explosion Shepard would have to survive (which would still destroy whatever kinetic shields are in place, if any) before falling into earth's atmosphere without a helmet and whatever's left hitting the ground at terminal velocity.

Oh, and look at the above picture. It's very interesting. It's a new picture, yet it still shows Shepard (out of rubble) in what looks to be London. In daytime. Pretty much every single concept art or promo picture including the covers of the game shows Shepard coming out of rubble in the daytime. There is a sunrise (with birds fying near it) which also fits what Blur said about Rio. "The night is always darkest just before the dawn" is a very common theme, and ME3 ends with the darkest. No dawn yet. It makes the end feel loads more depressing. Plus, Shepard is smiling. Like after beating an indoctrination attempt? What else for? The reapers being destroyed? Both?

I have it as my background picture. Why would Shepard be smiling like that after getting out of the rubble. his/her armor is completely fried, and s/he is suffering from multiple internal and external injuries. She'd be in no conditions whatsoever to fight.

Can you think of a better reason? If IT is true Shepard would probably have to get new armour. It just fits with all of the promo art, game covers, concept art and even trailers. That's why no one felt like we "took back Earth". I mean, it's the ME3 advertisement slogan! Yet we never do "retake Earth". If no IT DLC, false advertising.

You're missing my point. Shepard is in no condition to fight. S/he's just been hit by a laser withthe yield of several atomic bombs! S/he would never in a million years look as upright and proud in that picture if it was post- breath scene.

And that's why you'd be going to Rio!

??? Why would you want to go to Rio?

Look, Shepard's still in a pile of rubble. No one can find him/her. Not only that, but the primary objective is to get to the citadel. They wouldn't simply abandon that goal once they've found Shepard. Why would they suddenly decide to run away from their only way of victory?

They don't know the crucible is a trap, and they certainly don't know of any weird dream Shepard may have had.

Green is the color of disease.  I was thinking of bringing that up, but all you damn WoWers wouldn't recognize Bertoxxulous and I'd be the only one laughing at my stupid joke.

Hey guess I wanted to quote this from the Art of War All warfare is based on deception.”

In other words it means you have to trick your enemy if you want to win the war.

Also this quote too." Enemy, you must become your Enemy.”

"The enemy in this case would be the opposing army that you wish to defeat through strategy. Knowing your enemy means knowing their plans and what they plan to do. To become your enemy means to imagine that you were in your opponent's position and consider what move you would make as your opponent. Thus, becoming your enemy (imagining yourself in their position) is the way you can know your enemy (understanding what their next move will most likely be)."

right now we are in the same boat.

From http://answers.yahoo...02202829AAGdiHg

Also another quote "It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle."

"Smart guy. What he says is true. Knowing the game mechanics is crucial, and knowing how your army works within those mechanics is just as important. It is impossible to formulate an effective battleplan if you have no idea of what your army is capable of. It's also really handy to know the ways of one's adversary, so you have some idea of what you're up against. I'll go over the easy one first ..." from

I said this about the picture last night:

Has anyone else pointed out that the rubble seems more like the result of a long battle, and not the same as the kind of rubble from the beginning? And that at no point in the game has Shepard been on Earth during (what looks to be) early morning?

Also, if that is the beginning of the invasion, why is Shepard smiling? Only reason to smile is if its after.

Heres hoping those things burning in atmosphere are Reaper corpses.

Oh yes, Shepard smiling is one of the most important aspects of that picture! Shepard did not smile at all when the Reapers came to Earth. You wouldn't be smiling if your planet was in ruin unless the enemy has been destroyed. And rubble rubble rubble, more rubble, and rising up from the rubble. A common theme in promo pictures, but not shown in game, and the only opportunity to rise from the rubble is... The breath scene.

Because the beam is a trap. Combine that datapad in the FOB with WNT, and it's practically spelled out for us.

There are a lot of ways I can counter this. How would no one find her, if like you said, getting to the citadel is their objective? Shepard's right in front of them! (Or to the right a bit or something.) They'd go to that awesome mysterious facility in Rio and get fixed up. Oh, and the original leaked script had Shepard get blasted back into a pile of rubble and have a piece of rebar stuck through her leg, just like the breath scene. You had to get out, apply medigel (which everyone forgets in literal) and keep fighting! Oh, and since Shepard remembers the Leviathan conversation, I find it more than plausible that she could remember the Harbinger IT one. Plus, the crucible doesn't have to be a trap in IT.

If IT isn't true then Andersons team should have made it to the Citadel with him, since Harbinger is gone. If Harbinger did return it's funny once again that he misses all but the most important guy.

Yes, there is no reason for other people not to arrive at the citadel after Harbinger leaves, and also no reason for Harbinger to leave.

So maybe we all should go find quotes in the Art of War. Since Bioware knows about Sun Tzu.

That's probably pushing it. Everyone knows about Sun Tzu. Though, the reapers are cunning in their deception. I'm gonna go for now.
