Also if you going to say that's going to cause a flame war, then maybe your right, but we have lots of people come in here, and talked trash to us, debated with us, and called us cults. Did that ever cause a flame war? No it didn't.

Because we let it go. They won't. They'll chew that bone until it's dust.

Because we aren't like them

You mean if IT is proven wrong?

I think he means he will make another profile or something, like an alt that he thinks won't come back on us.

BatmanTurian it won't last. New comers will start everything all over again, and I wasn't talking about Control supporters. I was talking about Synthesis supporters.

People don't want to debate with them because they won't listen to reason, but I can. Besides It's not like I will troll on them. I am going to do what Kelly is doing.

How would one argue for IT, yet not come off as an ITer?

Still trying to figure out exactly what "it" is

" Isaid spot I will not say anything about IT, nor talk about it."

You mean you are going to create an alternate profile and advocate for destroy without ever mentioning indoctrination theory?

It won't go as well for you as it might for Kelly. They won't even listen, they won't consider anything you say, and they will only laugh in your face. It won't work, MB.

Most of them hate anyone who even considers the IT plausible, so they won't debate you congenially.

Masster, I like you and all, but please dont go out and argue for IT. If people want to talk about IT, they'll come here. If you go out and force it on people, they'll just get mad.

Plus, your grammar and spelling would really work against you if you're trying to convince people to come over to our own side. I'm not trying to be mean, its just the way it is.

Byne for long as I can remember I always have been thinking about this. And I will not use IT, I will what I know about ME, and I will use the characters they love against them. Not in a troll like way, but more like a reminder on why they died, and what they did for Shepard.

That sounds like the biggest dick move I can possibly think of. This entire idea is stupid. Dont do it.

Back to the paragon/renegade debate.

Are the colours reversed?

(Many) Literalists say: no, because in control you sacrifice yourself and
nobody dies, so that's paragon. Destroy is red because you're ruthless,
your end justifies the means. The fact that you can make it out alive is
simply the reward of selfishness.

(Many) IT-ers say: yes, the colours are reversed, because otherwise TIM would embody paragon and
Anderson renegade (because you see a flash of TIM at the controls, and a
flash of Anderson shooting the tube). Also, picking control is the
power hungry option, because keeping the collector base was aligning
with TIM, the power hungry option, indicative of wanting to control
(because you can only control if you have low EMS and kept the collector
base), and it was the renegade option, the bottom of the dialogue
wheel. Destroying the base because the human Reaper was an abomination
was the paragon option, the top of the dialogue wheel, indicative of
wanting to destroy the Reapers altogether, by destroy being the only
option if have low EMS and you destroyed the base.

And that's what's so genius about the ending. What the literalists say seems
to make sense at first glance, but when you think about it, you realize
how Bioware is simply fooling you into going along with the Reapers.
It's reaaaaaally cleverly done. They made it very believable.

The colours are undeniably reversed, as far as I'm concerned.

How people do not realize this, is beyond me.

IT - WE ARE YOUR SALVATION THROUGH DESTRUCTION

It's pretty obvious the colors are reversed. Even Paragon Shepard knows
people might be lost in a war against a difficult, unremitting, advanced
enemy spread out across the galaxy. Shepard also knew EDI and the Geth
signed up for war. Both are essentially software so they can be rebuilt,
so their supposed " deaths" are false and anyone lingering on them is
choosing emotion over the cold logic you need to have in warfare.

I think people just didn't get this fact, even though Garrus and others
smack you over the head about it over and over again " Hey you might
have to make some tough choices. Here are some people that also had to
make some tough choices. Did we mention the Reapers need to be
demolished? "

Anyone wavering after that lost to the Reapers
because they turned to jelly over the Geth and EDI. They can be fixed
and EDI won't be the same again, but it's really no reason to just
forget why you killed Saren and Sovereign, why you bum-rushed the
Collectors, and why you bulldozed Reaper forces in all three games. Just
to make friends with them? No, that's idiotic, cowardly, and naive.

But his cut dialogue about human boobs is hilarious.

The whole diversity thing really annoys me, as a biologist and as a semi-intelligent human being, it's hard to accept that "humans have more genetic diversity than anybody else!" I cringe when Mordin makes a comment in reference to this in ME2, he's so much smarter than that. For a series based mostly on scientific fact whenever possible, it clearly shows a lack of serious research done by the writers. Unless it is intentionally wrong and meant to throw us off (insert "Does this prove IT?" here).

Also, thanks for the speculations link, I went digging back 20 pages and couldn't find anything interesting to read.
