Leviathan says that Reapers attacked them without any visible reason. In my opinion, Intelligence was reprogrammed by someone.

It's not very complicated, but it requires not trusting the Catalyst, which many people seem to have difficulty with pulling off.

I don't think that Catalyst lying to us. but it's obviously holding something back. Especially about origins of Crucible.

Only the original map get hazards (that may include harbinger) - and they are all the maps Shepard visit.

Well for starters, isn't that new dialogue in the trailer?  He obviously recorded something.  Not sure how far that goes though.

Whoa! Where is this from? Did BioWare announce something while I wasn't here?


Looks just like a title and banner system. Fluff. Has nothing to do with the story.

The fans of ME have chanted Harbinger, and we have him now. Harbinger the Boss of the Reapers, harvester of cycles, father of the Reapers, is now in MP. Also is it me, or is that Collector ship in London? I will show you in a bit.

All I know is THIS IS AN ENEMY WORTH FIGHTING!

I have played MP in a while.  Is that a new look for the lobby?  


It will be in the Retaliation DLC.  And I just noticed something interesting.  Liara T'Soni has a Tela Vasir banner, and is called a Council Operative.  Maybe they're trying to suggest that Liara might be a traitor since Vasir was a traitor.  Also, calling Synthesis EDI a "Mathemagician" is an OBVIOUS reference to Space Magic.  It must be.

1. I know. However, calling it an AI would be good enough. They had to give it a name, the Intelligence.

2. Reprogrammed by who? Quite the detail for the story to leave out. I could give you this, if there was even a hint that it was reprogrammed in the story itself. Seems that Leviathans intended on the Intelligence to Control organics from creating synthetics because the Leviathans have limited range/power, but instead it developed along Synthesis (AKA *huskification*) after becoming Harbinger, imo. I recognize that this is pure theory.

3. I think the Catalyst is outright lying about several major things. And where it cant' lie, it strongly misleads with deliberate wording (which is enough to call it a 'lie', or at least an illusion).

One of the devs has a sense of humor alright, her title is "Mathemagician."  Like Byne said, even BIOWARE knows Synthesis is space magic.

I do agree with that, but know that this is *pure* speculation.

Liara could be not all she appears (even if her intentions are genuine?).

James Vega is a 'survivor'? Might it be because of his original Collector experience... or something more?

Grunt seems straightforward.

Synthesis EDI being a MatheMAGICian is, I totally agree, a nod towards Space Magic.

Those titles might be real in game MP titles. But naming a character that has a title mathemagician (wich migh have something to do with the ammount of tech kills for example) synthesised EDI - that is surely a pun at synthesis.

Wow!!! It's out in 5 days!!! Listen to what Harbinger says. He uses the same words Shepard does In Control ("understand the full extent"). This means that either in Control he is replacing Harbinger and thus uses the words as his own, or that Control is fake. Also, there might have been a similar event in the last cycle and in every other that came before. Rach cycle a different organic takes place as the ruler of the Reapers thus keeping them in check. This way they do not deviate from their main purpose - preserving life through harvesting. Each time the mind of a single representative of the most valuable (in terms of genetic maleability) species gives tone to the Reapers actions in the next cycle.

Because they REALLY want to surprise us with those kits?  That's really the obvious answer.  Those other kits must be something very special, and revealing, or else they would reveal them.
