Seems to be a lot of new animations in the trailer for Harbinger to just be there, especially if it's just in the background during a MP match.

Gotta wait and see. In the meantime, it has reinvigorated my desire for MP. Looking forward to possible SP content that may include Harbinger.

Was playing Surkesh yesterday...anyone ever stayed to listen to the entire banter b/w Paddok Wiks and random STG guy...Paddok says something towards the end that Dalatrass Linron would send the guy to Tuchanka strapped down with varren meat and wait for a thresher maw to eat him, all while recording it as an example of what happens to those that oppose her...not exactly really friendly if you ask me. Might just give a little more credence to my thought that Dalatrass Linron is the mole (even though she has a source from the STG actually do the dirty work) and the reason we don't here about a mole again, is she was only interested in trying to stop a cure for the genophage - not derail the entire war effort.

Excellent list, it's a nice, short and easily digested summary that isn't bogged down in background details.

Wish I could think of a good 9 and 10, but I'm afraid the best I can offer is a couple of meta-reasons. An argument against Coats on the Citadel and Leviathan Guy in the ending cutscenes is that Bioware are simply re-using assets to save disc space. Fair enough, except that they deliberately chose those models out of all of the human soldier models that appear in game.

An argument against flycammed evidence is that if you need a flycam to see it, it's not intended to be seen so nothing can be read into it. However, Bioware are game devs and therefore aware that flycam exists and that PC gamers, a large chunk of their audience, will play with it - it's part of the fun for them. Bioware are fond of leaving Easter Eggs in their games, and to me it isn't much of a stretch to imagine that they've squirreled away a few treats for the more dedicated fans.

Well, Harby himself might not be in the trailer, but I KNOW his voice will be when he Assuming Direct Controls a few Collectors.  Also, Maximized, TSA, FFZero, and I made it to wave 9 on PLATINUM.  We would have won, too, if TSA's connection didn't decide that was a good moment to die. <_<

Firts time? I've beaten platinum a few times - with a good team it is pretty easy (but tedious, i prefer gold)

The Direct Control mechanic could be a lot of fun in MP - vanguard charging what you think is a normal collector, only to find your day taking a sudden turn for the worse for example:O.

Sorry, Harbinger is just the trailer announcer. It would have taken a larger overhaul to implement him into the game too. I too wish we could have put his voice in the game along with the possession mechanic.

As stated earlier:
There is only one Indoctrination Theory left (of course there are different subsidiaries). TTG renamed his thread to Deception Theory.
I don't know, I feel home in this thread. You can discuss a lot of stuff and everyone is friendly, with a few exceptions (I am looking at you Rif... lol, joking! I like your Dr House style:)). While in TTG's thread you feel like... in a country ruled by a presumptuous dictator.

On another note:
Check out my signature "IT's Top Ten" and post ideas. I already read what a few others posted, but I won't change anything today, because I will go off. I certainly will try to flesh out my post and maybe get the polls rolling soon.
Btw: I had an idea for #9 : Indoctrination in general and listing occasions where/how indoctrination happened (ie. Rana Thanpotis, Arrival staff, Saren/TIM, Paul Grayson etc.), Shepard's exposure to reaper artifacts and linking codex entries. Anything else you want to add?

When you first saw the Retaliation banner on the blog did anyone else think we'd be playing as Collectors for a second? I did!

That's alright though, fighting them in a jetpack-Turian should be just as fun.
