Don't tell anyone but I played Arrival after completing ME3. Posted Image Always though those hoardes were security staff.

And they weren't?

They were IMO. People sometimes think they were Kenson's team.

They didn't have the blue suns colors just the same models,at least far as i can remember

when and where is this line?

Arrival. When fighting the hoardes of the Project Object Rho sends that line on air.

I thought so... But why after ME3? arrival is before..... And yes....that final stand fight.... what memories....That was epic!

Poor wording, I meant after finishing ME3 I did a replay of the trilogy and it all made sense in that moment.
I believe it is Harby the one that speaks trough Object Rho?

Actually.....at the end of arriival....when shepard speaks with Harbinger.....how exactly does he do that??? there is nothing there, no projector, no communication device - it's just a landing pad. .))))

The voice that says the struggle line comes from the object not the staff, it's like the taunts you hear during combat with the collectors

Dat voice.

Too hoarse. Wouldn't sound good when Reaperized.

If you have watched the dark knight. You would have noticed Keith Szarabajka's voice is quite hoarse as well but they still make it sound alot differant for Harbinger's voice.

Which character does he play there?

He plays the cop in the room with Joker.

Also - in arrival walkthrough - right after object rho hits - round frame of the transition light is faintly present.
www.youtube.com/watch

from 3.22 and onwards...most prominent at 4.13

from this point on the frame persist even during gameplay. It is very faint but the corners are darker. Now that io think about it - it is present through the whole ME3 from this point on! That is why i feel that ME2 looks better! it has clean edges of the screen - but from after the object rho hit - the edges are slightly dimmed and blurry (slightly!) if you don't belive me - here's  a random point in mass effect 3

www.youtube.com/watch

skip to 15.21 and watch!

The round frame is there!!

And in the arrival clip - it's not there at the last stand fight - but it is always there after!!!!

Guys! This is huge!! Everewhere in mass effect 3 there is a slight round frame on the screen, like in the transition light. And everywhere in arrival after the last stand fight.

I've always wondered that.

Also, who is it that talks to Shep right when the Normandy picks her up? Sure as hell isnt Joker.

Seriously? I think some characters look more realistic when they are well lit in some scenes but overall ME3 looks better.

I think his name is let's not bring Seth Green for a friggin' line because he is too expensive.

No.... unfortinatly it seems i am not right, and it is just a general effect. It is present in the lair of the shodow borker, and in the arrival before the last stand. So no false alarm. it is present throughout all of the mass effect 2 and 3. Even in the prologe, before shepards dies in the destruction of the normandy.

in this clip here it is present prominent at 7.50, before the normandy is shot. So it is just general filter, added for more cinematic look.

If that didn't have so much hiss I could try reaperising his voice right now :pinched:
Sounds good - but am I the only one who suspects the "you have come too far" line might not appear when we think it does?
That would be a ****ing cool line for starbinger to come out with when you confront it at the end...

I've noticed the possibility that even in the Destroy ending, the Reapers' driving force isn't really defeated. Main reason: the indoctrination effects of Reaper technology. I've been assuming that the Crucible (as it fires in a literal interpretation) would deactivate the indoc capabilities of Reaper tech along with the Reapers in the Destroy scenario. But...what if it doesn't? Indoctrination is very much quite possible in Control and Synthesis but if it still functions in Destroy...we may see many people seeking to rebuild Reaper-like ships to bolster their fleets defenses. And then the cycle could begin again.

When I look at things literally, I'm going to go off of the belief that the Destroy ending does disable indoctrination but if it doesn't...the galaxy may truly face an immortal enemy with the Reapers. They become more than an armada: they become an idea

The biggest problem I see with the literal control and synthesis endings (other than me not trusting Catalyst!Shep and Synthesis being ridiculous) is that the Reapers still exist.

Can they just turn off their indoctrination ability?

I dont buy the idea that everyone would so willingly work with the Reapers after the war. Seems like everyone gets indoctrinated in the literal Control and Synthesis endings.

Double repost as this might be a very plausible speculation. Corporate politics involved.

Well, actually Michael Gamble couldn't have said otherwise, ME4 might still be in the early stages of development so for now Shepard's story officially ends with ME3.

I see what you mean, Sovereign was dead and Rana Thanoptis was still indoctrinated so dead Reapers does not mean free of indoctrination.
