Well that's the worst news I could have ever read. brb dry heaving into a bucket for the next few hours.

Don't worry.  Scions and praetorians still won't be as retardedly broken as geth.

Oh Geth... I don't think they needed any of the buffs that Bioware gave them because now they are stupid powerful but I still find them manageable with a good team, even randoms. Just don't expect anything easy on Platinum, once Geth show up its basicallly over....

I've completely given up on them now.  Since they "fixed" the prime's drone, they even stun the hell out of a kroguard.  I'm insta-quitting when I see geth now.  Geth just ****** me off.  I play the game to have fun.  If I want to get pissed off, I'll watch the presidental debates.

Amen to that!

Also about the Volus, what if they are a cover for adding Protheans? Now believe me, adding Protheans or Volus is quite lore-breaking to me but if you had to choose between one or the other...

Agreed, I'm MUCH rather have an ass-pull than an outright lore break.

^Omega's getting announced next week at an event that looks to be distinct from NYCC.
Basically as predicted - release date maybe the 16th?

The 16th for Omega? That seems kind of soon. While I believe those easter eggs on Vancouver represent months not the exact holiday dates, doesn't the 16th seem kind of soon, especially if they ae only announcing (worldwide) next week? I dunno maybe I just don't want to get my hopes up..

Then again, they only gave us 4 days notice on Retaliation. It's a bit curious that they intend to release MP content with Collectors before SP content. If the release dates of the two DLCs is really so close it would be even more curious, why spoil the SP surprise?

Hm. Hear multiple ominous reports of the colectors' return from the N7 forces(mp), Shepard then finds confirmation of this via Omega?(sp)

Yea that would lead up well to an e-mail from Hackett to Shep in-game.

Something along the lines of odd Reaper movements or whatever he mentioned in almost every Op letter. So the player (us) would have background that reinforces Shepard's experiences.

Not to mention they are probably doing these DLCs together so the lolos (spanish slang for retard) who did not play ME or ME2 will know what a Collector/Harbinger is...

Wow, I have never seen those. Are they also in that room where the cake is?

You never know, the volus might be utterly useless for actually fighting and might just be purely support classes (as the lore states they supported the Turian military and stuff) which I am absolutely fine with. I say we don't get too mad until we actually see how it's implemented. It's exactly the response to the Volus that will kill ongoing mp support. Besides I always needed some one to waddle around and grab ammo for me.

Anyway I'm more excited about the reappearance of Harbinger!

left my opinion on Kelly's thread. Not sure what to think one way or the other but 10 things is not enough to write a review or opinion on IT.

Even in those 10 things, there are still nested details that aren't discussed. That's why a simplified version is hard to do. Why must we dumb it down if people can't be bothered to try to understand it themselves? Bioware themselves didn't dumb it down or there wouldn't be any disagreement about it whatsoever.

No offense to you, Restrider, I understand what you're trying to accomplish. I just think dumbing it down actually removes critical important details.

Kelly's blog post kind of triggered what I am trying to accomplish. Though the ten points she picked where not the core of the theory and her analysis is subjective, she has a point when she says that she is not going to invest the time to read through the 5000+ pages of this continued thread. While the website, she did not use, is a good start, we are not able to update it and it is still really abundant.
What I tried at first, was to narrow it down to a short list, but soon I realized that what you say is correct. Ten short statements won't cut it. So I think I am going to try to have ten major lines of discussion and back them up with subsidiary points and link to important posts/videos/evaluations. I think this thread really needs some kind of well-arranged table of contents linking to all the important posts. And that is what I am trying to do. If you have good links or missing information to add, please do not hesitate to pm me.

Don't be discouraged, a "cliff notes" version
of IT is exactly the kind of starting point someone like me would
need/use. I've watched most of the videos in the OP, but some of them
suffer from either too much opinion and too little "these are the facts,
m'am" or just information overload. In fact, regardless of content, the
presentation of "Choose Wisely - Part 1" was IMO probably the best
format I've seen thusfar.

Just to be clear, I'm fine with a Cliff Notes, and Restrider is doing fine with that. I think you guys misunderstood me. What I meant to say was Kelly's version is a really bad way to analyze and review the theory when he/she chose all of the weak arguments of IT and she she was dumbing it down to the point where it looked like a joke. I'm behind your list, Restrider, although I'm finding it hard to find things to add.

I will wait and see and we won't have much to say about Harbinger until the Omega announcement which should include Harbinger seeing as how he will not be in mulitplayer

Guys!  I just realized that BioWare has pretty much confirmed that the ending is enthrallment (They haven't confirmed the indoctrination part yet, but that's only a matter of time)!  You know why?  Because they actually SAID that the ending is made up from parts of Shepard's memories!  Priestly said it (If memory serves) in the interview that he and Merizan did online.  Now, at the time, we just thought, "OK, he's lending credence to our theory that Shepard is knocked out and seeing things from his memories."  However, after Leviathan, that statement has new meaning.  We KNOW that the Leviathans use memory in the enthrallment zone (For lack of a better term).  We KNOW that Harbinger is the Leviathan Reaper, meaning he MUST have those abilities SOMEWHERE (Assuming Direct Control, anyone?  Wait, that explains it with the Collectors!  They must be implanted with Leviathan technology so he can control them!).  So, at this point, it REALLY isn't a stretch to say that the ending is at LEAST enthrallment if not conplete indoctrination (Though I'm pretty certain it is that, too).

Actually, in Skyrim, Maiq actually tells the truth now, as opposed to his " ancestors ".

Pyros and Hunters give a new meaning to spambots... When the whole team, minus one loser sitting on the other side of the map refusing to rev anyone so he can "survive", gets wiped by one hunter.... Oh well for some reason I always meet the nicest Brits while playing ME MP...

I was thinking about what Harby said. He somewhat indentifies himself with the Collectors.

I think that it's the way Harby was remembered in ME2 by majority of players - as Collector's General.

Nah, there's always been a clear distinction between Harbinger and the Collectors. What I've got from ME2 is that Harbinger used them, commanded them, but did not identify himself with them. He even says to the Collector General: "You have failed," clearly perceiving him as a seperate being. On the other hand, when I think about it right now, Harby used to refer to himself in plural form in ME2 so maybe he is refering to himself in the trailer. Assuming he'll have a cameo (like the squadmates Posted Image, would be disappointing) in Omega DLC, that'd mean he appears for the first time in ME3's story in Act 2. Furthermore, it'd mean that he'll play a greater role in upcomind SP DLCs (for Act 3 and the possible IT DLC).

I always thought the "YOU HAVE FAILED!" line was directed to Shepard?
He is saying something along the lines:
"YOU HAVE FAILED! YOU'VE CHANGED NOTHING!..."

M'aiq - He tells truth. For example, he told us in Morrowind - how is long walking on feet - in Oblivion we got Fast Travel.
In Oblivion he told us, that he saw a dragon and how he sad, that there is no crossbows, so in Skyrim we got whole army of dragons and crossbows ( DawnGuard )
P.S. The only liar is Jessica Merizan. And IMoI ( your chain ). Chris Priestly just a troll. Professional Troll.

Hey, I figure that Chris is reliable on SOME things. Never ask him for information on upcoming stuff (Like games and DLC), but his other stuff is reliable. Besides, to claim that we can't listen to him would be to deny that we're a viable possibility for the ending. Because if we can't trust anything he says, we're screwed. And like I've said before, the main reason that he lies about upcoming stuff is because that's his job. He can't just go confirming leaks all willy nilly now, can he?

I think the majority in this thread agrees that Kelly's list was distorting IT. And when she posted her introduction in this thread, I was not surprised when I read the whole blog post. Reading that biased introduction triggered my efforts to have something to link to, when someone is stating false accusations or just wants to have an oversight of the IT.

Again, check out IT's Top Ten in my signature. I'd really like to add something more specific to Paul Grayson's indoctrination process and a link to that datapad in Arrival. Furthermore I will try to start the polls in a few hours.

Banshee your brother said earlier that Shepard in the Original ending was suppost to fly back and land into rubble, yet we didn't see that happen, or did we.

The breath scene. Also Shepard looks like he/she is flying backwars when Harbinger charges/fires is laser.

And got a peice of rebar stuck in her leg.
