About color coding. There were many discussions about meaning of color in the end. Let's remember where we can see colors in the game.

Red: Renegade dialogue option, Reaper's terminal (on Vermire)
Green: project Overlord, Prothean beacons and terminals
Blue: Paragon dialogue option, TIM's eyes, dying star near Cronos Station after choosing to destroy Collectors Base.

I can't see any sense in it.

You know, I should've said "SP" instead of "MP" and let them correct me. I might've gotten some implication about SP content that way.

Oh well.

They're not going to fall for that, but I think it's safe to assume they didn't get the VA back in just for the trailer ;)

yes, so choosing on color alone is foolish and ignorant.

I saw that someone mentioned the other day in another thread how it is ridiculous that Anderson in the citadel at the very end has no armor. Has anyone ever mentioned in the IT threads or documents that Anderson charging Reapers and a crazy a** space beam in the final push to save Earth is wearing a vest and nothing more - when there are 10s of top armours to choose from? Could this provie that Shepard was imaging the events and the people in them the way he wants to and would imagine them normally. Because we always see Anderson in a simple vest for ME3.

There are only three fractions that can Control the Collectors.

Cerberus, Leviathans, and The Reapers/ Harbinger.

If Cerberus Controls the Collectors that's stupid because why have Harbinger in the trailer with the Collectors, and why not even have Harbinger talk about The galaxy's fate.

Makes no sense. I can however see the Leviathans take over the Collectors, but Harbinger is the #1 Reaper that I know that Controls the Collectors.

That would mean Mass Effect 3 is a dream then zion.

Just finished CW Pt.2 haha I wanted more but I guess I got spoiled by long ass videos from Prettz and CN.

I dunno what to think of the shared memories. There are pretty good arguments against James and Shep sharing memories but the idea is very compelling, and one I never even thought of!

"There is entirely too much fighting, rule breakage and petty bickering in the threads here.

While we appreciate you like the characters the behavior of many people in this forum is against the rules and spirit we want on the BSN.

We are investigating ways to improve this forum, but this weekend this forum is closed. DO NOT start "I love X character" threads in other forums or they will be closed and the people starting them will be banned until t a solution is reached. You are welcome to create Groups for people to discuss their favorite characters or romances.

When I have an update, likely Tuesday next week after the Thanksgiving Holiday, I will let everyone know."

I assume thats why haha

Actually based on the Shadowbroker documents we get this on TIM´s outfit: Built-in protection from close-range weapons fire.

Add in Kinetic Barriers and it would seem effective armor looking like everyday clothing is feasible...

But it probably costs way more than what you give even someone like Anderson and would be hard to get on the war ravaged Earth...

So yeah, it is strange.

Wouldn't it just mean the part after the beam is a dream/hallucination which is what IT says? I dont mean why does he always have a vest just in that last part when Shepard is supposedly in the last attempts by the Reapers to be indoctrinated.

Maybe i missed something central here.:bandit:

Wait Chris said Thanksgiving holiday, as in the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday. Wait that's it, they are going in their Calander order/ holidays, when dlc will be released, and will be announced. It all makes sense.

From the holiday Items we have found in MP, and Leviathan it all adds up.

It's simple.

Destroying collector base: You get paragon points for it, you disagree with TIM, you destroy it because the Reaper is an abomination. It is directly linked to the 'Destroy' choice in the end, because if you destroyed the base and your EMS is low, destroying Reapers is your only option.

Keeping collector base: You get renegade points for it, you go along with TIM, you keep it because you're power hungry. It is directly linked to the 'Control' choice in the end, because if you kept the base, and your EMS is low, controlling the Reapers is your only option. (The power hungry option)

If these things are directly linked, then why is control colour-coded paragon, when it was renegade at the end of ME2? Same thing for destroy, which was paragon in ME2, but now colour-coded red.

The answer: manipulation. The reason for the colours seems to make sense at first, because (supposedly) nobody has to die in the control ending, and in destroy you 'ruthlessly' sacrifice EDI & the Geth. This is simply suggestive manipulation, because if we look at the in-game consistency, (as I explained above), the colours should be reversed.

Also, TIM is associated with control and Anderson with destroy. Why would TIM (a villain) suddenly be associated with the 'paragon' option of wanting to control? In ME2, keeping the base (linked to control by EMS) was renegade.

It's clearly manipulation.

I thought it was silly until I tried to remember what other Normandy mates have said, and nothing they say is to glaring as James' comments, as if he was always with you.

But its not like indoctrination-shared-memories imo. It's my idea of Shepard's own unique power of inspiring others, instead of compelling, controlling, or indoctrinating them.
