Edit: While doing this sketch I noticed something that made me think it's Salarian if not Turian. It's definitely not Kasumi, though, not even close.

And I counter with this. It looks nothing like a Salarian hood. It doesn't have the horns of a Salarian. It's rounded:

Look at it again, it has a definite edge left of the middle stripe.

Fine, I could be wrong. But I'm 95% positive I'm right. Kasumi makes sense anyway. She's experienced in getting into places people don't want her to be. Omega would be locked up tight and an unconventional way in would be needed, perhaps while Cerberus is distracted, just as at Chronos?

Even when I squint I dont see how you get Kasumi from the picture.

The face structure really doesnt match any alien we know, unless we're seeing from a weird angle, and really doesnt match Kasumi's.

the red mark is exactly where her tatooo would be. Factor in the pixelization of the shadows on the face and the face is a hooded, shadowed oval. The hood is practically the same except for a few stripes.

And since when does Kasumi have
a) no nose
B) the frontmost thingy being her chin?
c) brown skin color
d) a face shaped like a Salarian head?

The mark could really be anything, though. Turians get facial tattoos.

Maybe you're right and you can laugh at me when the DLC comes out, but until then, I'm sticking with saying it looks nothing like Kasumi.

the middle bulky is her breasts. It's skin tight and forms the outline. the bottom bulky is her arms crossed. the collar parts are actually part of her hood, as seen in the pic I keep posting. The shoulders have always had bulky pads on her suits.

And these are exactly the parts where Salarians have stuff on their armor. Mordin's lower arms for example have these thingies on them making them about double in width, and they have that ring in front of their chest.

I don't get why there is even a discussion about that. It's a bit more fancier robe for a Salarian female. Human, or Turian head to shoulder would be way off.

I agree with you, someone posted in another thread it could be a Lystheni that would explain the presence of a female Salarian on Omega.

But why give her a new outfit that stands out way more than her old one (which also stood out a bit)?

A. pixels. The nose is there, it's just highly pixelated and not detailed.
b.what?
c she's asian and her face is in shadow
d. the face shape is an illusion created by pixelated shadows. It's actually oval.

That's what I'm telling you. It's not a new outfit. We're seeing it highly pixelated behind a hologram at an unsual angle. It's the same body shape she's always had and the suit is black except for those white stripes. Maybe she's part of the new N7 program that has those stripes, marking herself as an employee of the alliance now?

This looks like Kasumi. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few Kasumis in my time.

The body shape of that character in the Omega picture doesn't really look salarian, definitely more like a turian to me, the waist is too thin for a salarian for one thing. If it is a turian then maybe we'll finally be seeing a female turian?

At this point, the conversation is pointless to continue. If it is really pixelated to the point that Kasumi appears to have horns and be wearing armor, it is pixelated beyond hope, and theres literally no point discussing the photo anymore.

Does anyone else think it could be a Lystheni? The Omega connection seems to make a lot of sense.

We'll just agree to disagree, but I think you guys are jumping to conclusions when the visual evidence adds up. Why make up a new character for an infiltration mission when you can bring in Kasumi, Shepard's expert friend? But I've said enough about this, I guess.

Is Kasumi taller than Shepard? In that image the figure looks taller than Shepard.

I think you could be on to something here.

I don't know exactly what it is, but it's definitely not human. And doing my line over thing caused me to lean towards Salarian.

Edit: You can also make out Garrus' Archangel symbol on the left shoulder. Or something like it.

Not necessarily. Garrus worked with various species as Archangel.

I vote turian, but is there any reason why it's species is important? I feel as if I'm missing something.
