Where did you go?  Did you try to reason with Literalists?  Worse yet, did you try to reason with SYNTHESIZERS?   Because to approve of Synthesis requires a mind boggling amount of, there's no other word for it, stupidity.

At least Control supporters can argue that the Reapers will stay in line because Shepard controls them or changed their personality or something.

Synthesis supporters just assume that because everyone is now the same, we will get along forever.

Civil wars have never once happened in history due to this very fact.

Yeah and considering the hate people would most likely still hold towards the Reapers (doubly so if a huskified person suddenly gained awareness back like the husk hints) I dont think a civil war is far of.

So everyones mind almost has to have been altered to create this perfect utopia in which case the kill count of Synthesis is the entire galaxy according to Jack and Samara (refering to their quotes in ME2 about if you change someones mind, they are essentially dead)

Not so perfect now, eh? <_<

I was trying to play good cop to your bad cop, but that obviously doesn't work with these people.

Oh and guys Restrider has a new poll up. This time it's about which one is the Second back bone for IT, It's already on the second page of the Polls, but as of right now Leviathan is wining the polls, which is good because I believe that's the second back bone of IT.

I'd like to create a drinking game out of how much outdated information, misinterpreted quotes, and outright lies we can find in a synthesis thread.

I was thinking last night about how ME3 could end and ME4 could begin, and here's my thoughts.

If IT is true, what I think will happen is that we'll take Earth back, and Shepard will move to a command position rather than being a frontline fighter.  That way, ME4 can still take place during the Reaper war, and Shepard will no longer be the focus of the story.

That's a good idea!  Of course, I can't drink since I'm only 16, but it's still a good idea!

Also, I LOVE your signature.  Isn't it the truth?

It's not a synthesis thread! that's the thing. It was a discussion about having a possible IT or Wake Up optional DLC. And then control and Synthesis people came in and had a hissyfit and crapped up the thread.

no reason to. If they don't understand the thematic break of synthesis or how it's a rape and genocide of the entire galaxy coked up with sugar on top, then they won't get why Leviathan is relevant.

I know. I only pick on synthesis now because of a rather long argument I had with a synthesis supporter while playing MP. His argument boiled down to "synthesis is correct because I chose it, and whatever I choose cant possilbly be wrong."

I guess.

After Anderson dies for real, and like a Hero, I guess Shepard had to do his/her part, and command the ground forces. Thus will let Shepard raise a family, and playing the child of Shepard depending on you chocies.

You either play as Shepard's child
An orpahn
Or an military family,

And the Next ME game will be titled:

Edit: Here are the results of the poll and the new poll!
Edit2: I guess the "None of the above" option is mainly used by non-ITers, literal fanatics and bad enders?

Does anyone know if anyone took a look at the scenes of the Prothean visions and made sense of the places the vision takes place in? There's at least 4 different places. 3 on the ground and one on the scale of either a star system or galaxy.

It's the ground places I'm curious about. Try not to connect the vision to trap since BioWare tends to offer double meanings on everything. We know it's referring to a trap because of the game telling us that but is it saying more than that?

I just HAD to post in that thread to correct Seival on his bull****. It may be a 5 hour old post I quoted, but like I said in the thread, calling Seival a liar has no time limit.

I voted for "the kid". It's IMO the biggest dead give away that the ending is an indoctrination attempt and a battle within the mind.

I voted Breath Scene.
At the first poll, I voted Anderson&TIM and was quite surprised that this point had so poor support :o
But Breath Scene is my close second.
I am furthermore surprised to see Leviathan to have such skyrocketing results, compared to the mediocre performance in poll 1.
