AHh cool but isn't "Summer" almost finished......

Yep, so end of this month/beginning of September? Soon either way.

Probably;y be the same day as Guild Wars 2 which is the 28th and a Tuesday.

Yes! Exactly my thoughts. That and turkey, but a big fat turkey in the middle of a map is wayyy too obvious of a clue. I only suppose the cake could be Thanksgiving because there's a lot of food going on in Thanksgiving, pie and cake included That and it seems to fit a 6-month string of holidays.

Yeah, i'm hoping it means access to the inaccessible core of the citadel (where the keepers come from). But it probably won't. :(

Honestly anything to do with Keeper origins and stuff would probably be a separate DLC

It's more wishful thinking on my part. :P I have a whole canon worked out in my head where this is a necessary scene.

Anyway, most likely the new citadel parts will be part of some mission where we have to retrieve someone or something (think warehouse level in ME2) and not an expansion of the hublevels.

So I guess everyone is a sleep. Well I would like to point out that, what if the new part of the Citadel that is in the Leviathan dlc, could be we Shepard is at the endings. Or something else that we have yet to see that is not been explord at all.

Someone suggested that on the last page I believe, M B. And it's possible, also possible we'll get to go to some kind of Merc hang out, or another area of the Presidium (there's a lot more than just the Commons).

Like I've said, speculations until we see it up close in person.

Ya I know but I have a feeling that what we find on the Citadel, will blow our minds, and I think there will be another leaked script to. But hey I have no clue only speculations.

Not getting my hopes up, if it's true I'll just be pleasantly surprised, will instead choose to expect another social area of the Citadel, pre-Cronos Station.

Firefight Weapons Pack

Players will soon be able to arm themselves with the Firefight Pack, a new Single Player Weapon Pack available for download August 7 for $2 or 160 MS points. The Firefight Pack will feature two powerful new weapons and five bonus weapons to use in the fight to Take Back Earth!

The Firefight Pack includes the following weapons:

Indra Sniper Rifle
: Fully automatic sniper rifle.

The Indra's low-powered scope leaves it most effective at medium range, but many soldiers believe this limitation is offset by the gun's rapid rate of fire. The Indra is the first military-grade, fully automatic sniper rifle. It has an extremely efficient heat-sink system that allows a surprisingly large number of shots to be fired before the weapon ejects its thermal clip.

Krysae Sniper Rifle: Heavy turian sniper rifle with explosive rounds and an automatic scope for all-range fighting.

This turian antimateriel rifle is modified to kill Reaper enemies. The Krysae's scope uses a rangefinder that adjusts to keep the target in proper proportion to the shooter, which comes in useful when the sniper is forced into close range. Its specialized ammunition is both armor-piercing and explosive. In a desperate move, the turians released its specifications over the extranet so that nearly anyone with a fabricator could manufacture this weapon to help the war effort.

Reegar Carbine: Quarian electrical weapon that's best at close range.

This electrical weapon improves upon the arc pistol's design by generating a sustained current on its target. This weapon is named for the quarian Reegar family, whose marines have served valiantly against the geth.

Harrier Assault Rifle: Full-auto Cerberus rifle with low recoil and heat generation.

These Cerberus-modified Mattock rifles are fully automatic. Cerberus gunsmiths reined in the recoil issues, resulting in a gun that stays on target but delivers slightly less punch per round than a standard Mattock. As such, the weapon is typically utilized by Cerberus's elite troops who train constantly to make every burst count.

Geth SMG: Fully-automatic geth submachine gun. Its rate of fire increases when the trigger is held.

This submachine gun works on the same principles as the Spitfire: it shoots superconducting toroids that break apart on impact, retaining an electrical charge that flash-converts the shrapnel into plasma. Unlike the Spitfire, however, this smaller geth weapon has been modified to take thermal clips. Holding down the trigger speeds up its rate of fire, rapidly depleting the gun’s heat sink in exchange for nearly continuous fire.

Blood Pack Punisher SMG: Submachine gun with a secondary barrel that fires armor-piercing rounds.

The Punisher features a secondary barrel that fires one armor-piercing round per main-barrel burst. It was developed by Blood Pack gunsmiths who found that their vorcha recruits frequently forgot to optimize ammo loads in the heat of combat. This configuration makes the process automatic and highly effective at penetrating armor.

Adas Anti-Synthetic Assault Rifle: Electrical weapon that's effective against shields and synthetic targets.

Named in memory of the quarians killed in the Morning War on the planet Adas, this weapon's electrical attack has been optimized for medium- to long-range firefights. Alliance marines take issue with calling it a "rifle" since, technically, it has no rifling in its barrel. The quarians shrug this off, as quarian weapon terminology rarely translates flawlessly into human languages.

All 3 weapons from Rebellion are featured here, the Geth SMG from Resurgence. There's also the Indra, which goes with the Argus and Raider as pre-order guns. That leaves (from MP) the Collector rifle (no idea why this isn't in SP), the Piranha, the Typhoon, the Acolyte, the Striker, and the Kishock. I bet the Kishock will be in Omega (likely with a batarian squadmate). If you don't count the Collector AR, then there are 5 more guns to go into SP, just like how they added 5 with Firefight.

Bump because some people didn't get the memo.

Hey awesome MB! Me and BleedingUranium just thought that too. I doubt it to be honest, but it would be very sneaky of them. Hell, we know there will be new stuff during Citadel: the Return anyway.Posted Image

You know Byne I have been looking at the old IT thread, and I can't believe that we had so many people agreeing with IT, but I guess they left after they got tiresome of IT. Well I guess that's why we are still here then because we are the ones who find IT very intertaing, and get to know one another.

Yes I know this is off topic, but I just have been looking into the old IT thread and I have been reading the first post ever made in the old IT thread.

Has anyone noticed the transition light ring in the leviathan trailer? (0.25) ))))

The one that serves as a transition to the scene where a Harvester just exploded? Yeah, reminded me a bit of the Dreadnaught explosion in Vancouver.

Yknow, that Dreadnought is invincible until Shepard moves too close.

If Shepard had just stood in Vancouver for the entire war, that Dreadnought could have single handedly won the war.

Like how the Normandy could have won the entire war, according to the reaper IFF people.

Obviously, they wanted us to know what would be in that particular pack. Can't expect the majority of gamers to buy a "mystery" gun pack and hope for the best. I mean, I would, but I buy all Bioware DLC so /shrug,

Edit: It should be noted the Leviathan and Firefight packs are 2 different DLCs sold seperately, in case you thought differently.

We better get the two new guns, the Punisher and Adas, in MP with the pack, otherwise, to fix that some weapons from MP aren't in SP, they add more weapons to SP that aren't in MP Posted Image

Leviathan better NOT release at the same time as GW2, gaming priorities are so hard to sort out.

Has there been any in-depth analysis of the trailer? Any more catches of "bright flashes"? Did anyone else think the shuttle crashing looked a bit.. familiar? And what does "You have come too far" really mean, why not say "You have gone too far" or similar?

I hope Shepard gets to say something like "Oh look more scientists studying Reapers, this should go well.."

Ya I wish Shepard could keep the Atlas and have the whole Normandy crew remodify the Atlas, with thraixs missles/bullets,cycloink Kinetic barriers, Salleris armor, and we what ever else the crew can think up.

Also the Atlas could be the new weapon Shepard get's. Crossing fingers.

/shrug

Can't have everything we want, but it is likely MP content as well just maybe not to begin with. With MP guns coming into SP, would make sense to bring MP exclusive weapons over to SP.

While the trailer didn't tell us much that we didn't already know from the leaked info, we learned that what (I'm assuming) the Doctor's father was the guy voicing the beginning, and the work he was doing was looking for old evidence of the Reapers, for what purpose, I'm not sure. There was also that thing in the bubble behind her, don't know what that was, and any ideas on the big broken ship-like thing the shuttle crashes on? Given that they were hit by something like an EMP, and that there looked to be more wrecked ships, it seems that it's a trap, and Leviathan takes down any ships that get close. Thoughts?
