And the Reapers have "refined" this process. So really anything is possible when the Reapers are involved.masster blaster wrote...
Well Shep80 Leviathan can create objects from Shepard's memorys, in Shepard's head, and it's possible that could happen.

There's something I don't quite get about IT. Or rather, its fanbase.
It's fine that you enjoy your own theories, of course. But you seem to want to actively prove anyone who chose a different ending from you wrong, and ensure that their entire game has been screwed up. Is that really productive or helpful?
Is it so hard to do the same?
I will never accept or respect your opinion...
Just like I will never respect Neo****s or NAMBLA...
Synthesis is that level of abhorrent...
What part of that aren't you getting?

Waking hallucinations are a part of indoctrination as shown in the video logs of the cerberus crew that were aboard the derelict reaper.CmdrShep80 wrote...
I wonder if indoctrination creates real world objects like what you just said about the picture even if it wasn't there before. I supoose someone would have to check in the biginning when you get to the citadel and determine when it changed
So, there's that.

The shame is that we all do it...there isn't anyone here that is perfect, its a part of what makes us human. But it doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to learn from our mistakes and try to be better. I know that's what I do - and I fail just as many times as I succeed.

Respecting someone's right to an opinion isn't the same as having to respect that opinion. My opinion is there opinion sucks.
Also, from another thread:
This is why IT hasn't "gone away"
We have the series themes, lore and story behind us. We have Bioware's history of twist endings. We have the ending content itself. And almost all off our most vocal critics resort to misrepresentations and outright lies sandwiched between insults and ignorance to attack us. Most of them get so much wrong, intentionally or not, that it's not hard to understand why their arguments hold so little credibility.

As bad as I want satisfaction now, and as annoyed as I have been at times with the community managers, I'm going to much rather experience it live, then some tweet or press conference statement. Hopefully, Bioware follows through with what I'm certain was at minimum their original intent.
If I recall correctly, and I forget what this was in response to, one of the Devs said something very close to: "We'll let the content speak for itself".
So, yeah, we'll never get an IT reveal via tweet or interview. When they do it, it will be in-game.

Seems unlikely to me, but the Omega DLC has a lot more mystique around it than Leviathan (largely because they learned their lessons from us leaking large parts of the script of Leviathan on here in advance...)

i think then BioWare did a wonderful job. There's probably hundreds of little moments which we think are real but are altered so slightly that by the time we reach the end we actually become indoctrinated ourselves. I wonder if BioWare has some sort of tally for how much people became indoctrinated?
if they do a ME part 2 they really should blow the whole indoctrination out of the water and make it as blunt as possible so people really can see. Maybe that will be the point of the next part to snap Shepard out of it and kill the reapers?

Also, because they couldn't really do much in the way of twists in Leviathan. You were going something powerful enough to kill a Reaper, whether it was a rogue Reaper or what it turned out to be wouldn't hav made much difference, you find exactly what you were looking for.
With Omega, do you really think they'd have a DLC that was just about killing Cerberus people in Omega so Aria can have it back? If that was it, that wouldn't really be DLC worthy.
The premise is so weak there pretty much has to be a twist, a real twist. Even more than that, look at all the possible twists/subjects to cover:
-Omega was designed/built by the Reapers
-Why does Cerberus want it?
-Omega-4 relay is nearby, and thus, Collector base remains
-Collectors confirmed, why are they there?
-Totally unforseen twists as a result of any of the above
-Totally unforseen twists as a result of totally unforseen other things

I think if it's an IT or Ending DLC thread then it's fair game. Even a neutral thread should be at least somewhat open for IT. But just like we don't want them in here, they don't want us in their pro-synthesis/control thread. I can stay away from their little dungeons so they keep out of our palace.masster blaster wrote...
Well Banshee, then go check out the mess I caused on the Synthesis thread. I only wanted to see what they were doing, but it didn't go well. I was awsome, but you know how they are.
