TTG in the comic it was believed that the Reapers built Omega, as the Reapers built the Relays, and the Citadel.

Wasn't Omega built by the current cycle?

Codex...

Originally an asteroid rich in element zero, Omega[/b] was briefly mined by the Protheans, who eventually abandoned it due to its thick, impenetrable crust. Thousands of years later, nature did what even the Protheans could not: a collision with another asteroid broke Omega[/b] in half, exposing its trove of element zero for easy mining.
A rush ensued as corporations and private individuals tried to strike it rich on Omega[/b], and thieves and outlaws followed in their wake. As space became tight, construction of processing facilities extended vertically from the asteroid, creating Omega's jellyfish-like silhouette. To prevent future collisions, the station is ringed with enormous mass[/b] effect[/b] field generators that redirect incoming debris.

The Codex also said the Citadel was built by the Protheans until recently. Its written from an in-universe perspective, and not infallible.

I don't know where to start, but Leviathan was a big win for us ITer's, and the Collectors/ Harbinger are back.

masster think about it. how do you like it when people come in here and criticize us? Good arguements or not it usually sucks especially when they are so adamantly in their position that no matter what we say or present to them they won't change. People don't like it when we do it to them either... No matter who is right or wrong

Ah seems I am late to the party haha

Also Restrider an ITer created a top ten list of IT, and it's pure awsome, and good people have gone, and come, yet they always say IT keeps calling them back.

I always thought something was up with Omega.... It could have easily been utilized by the Reapers after eradicating the Protheans.. And after setting up the Collector HQ beyond the Omega-4 Relay... Harbinger could easily test species living on Omega..

I've thought IT since I first hit the ending of ME3 and sat there going WTH?

In fact, my husband and I just discussed IT, and how Bioware really dropped the ball at the chance to set gaming history if they had originally planned IT as the ending to the game but didn't release the 'real'ending until a couple of weeks after the game dropped. (My husband's response was, they could have freely taken my money from now into the future)

Just think the build up they could have done with Twitter, Facebook, the mobile games/apps, and the ANN on the game start page....*I geek out thinking what a coup and great business idea that would have been*

I was very upset with the ending to ME3 and dropped playing anything for a while.

Decided to start a new ME play through....and it's sad. There is a little voice in the back of my head going "What does it matter?"

What's been up on the IT front?

Other than new videos, can't say much. I just got back within the last 48 hours and I've pretty much caught up with everything I needed, which wasn't much. Some stuff regarding Leviathan and hypotheses regarding Retaliation and Omega.

you don't have to buy it if you don't want to. there are videos on youtube. most of the content has been free mp stuff. I admit i wasn't really excited about MP until they started rolling out some good stuff.

There's some evidence that they may be pulling a long con because each successive DLC has boosted IT a little more.

Ya Batman is right. Here you are safe, and here you are among friends. Also we call ourselfs the IT family. We made this family in Mark 2, and now you are aprt of it.

That goes for any learker here too. You have all been here I think since Mark 1, so that makes you apart of the family, so if you have something to say, then tell us, or if you want to start posting, then do so.

oh and they're doing a buildup with the multiplayer operations, MP DLC, and SP DLC. We might have the whole picture by 2nd quarter of 2013.

I haven't touched ME in 6 months before Thursday. *eep*

Thought MP was, ok....has it gotten better from what the original game play was?

I'm a sucker, I like spoilers and watching the you tube videos, but I also like playing through it myself...but....I think I will talk myself out of paid DLC for now.

But the fact remains that the asteroid wasn't split until this cycle, which means that it's more recent than the Protheans, whatever it is.

I would cry with happiness if this was the case. And I would take a week off of work to play through all three games and all DLC back to back.

I'm doing what you're doing pretty much. I'm aware of what's going on, but I am waiting on purchasing it until I have the bigger picture and if it will end up making any difference in game.

Edit: Also, MP has gotten progressively better with each DLC pack, but if you play too often and on public too much, you'll probably end up bored after a period of time. That happened to me about a month and a half ago.

yes the MP has gotten a lot better and there are so many new classes and races to play now. Like I said, I wasn't really into it until they started beefing it up. Tuesday, they're rolling out Retaliation, which is the return of the collectors and Harbinger. Soon Omega will be coming out too.

i allways assumed the rift on klendagon was caused by an early design of the crucible...TIM says he found the target(derelict reaper) and the weapon which was "defunct"... meaning it wasnt working.. not broken or destroyed...

why would he be willing to allow the alliances crucible to be destroyed by telling the reapers of their plan...unless he had his own crucible.. and if it had already been partially constructed it would have taken far less time and resources to build...

im not sure if omega is that weapon or not but i really want to find out what is... i can only imagine cerberus coming to the rescue with their crucible.. logo plastered on the side.. coming to save the day... or using omega to fire huge mass accelerator rounds across the galaxy at reapers... omega could be powered by the eezo they were mining from the asteroid.. they just didnt have a large enough power source to do the job properly...

Any hearsay on what the rumored ME4 is supposed to be?

I thought I had run across something on the internet about a ME4, and a 2014 release date.

Sounds like I'm going to have to get back into MP. And download those MP DLCs.

Guys what if Cerberus is making Omega their Crucible. Think about it why else would TIM want Omega. Or since Omega is like the Citadel of the Terminus system, maybe he is planing something that we have no clue of.
