I completely agree that Shepard is on Earth (mainly because s/he never left Earth), but I think you/we are walkng a slippery slope when you/we start using items in the leaked script as evidence. If they really wanted what was in that script to be in the game they would have put it there (and maybe they will when they reveal IT). 

Just my opinion on the matter, of course. 

If I remember correctly the rebar thing was supposed to happen on Thessia, Kai Leng had bombs placed there and when detonated destroyed part of the temple, in result Shepard is hurt everything is falling apart and you have to choose between saving Liara or one of the squadmates. I don't remember if it was the VS or the one you brought with you in the mission.
