Ironically, for shouting so much at Shepard that they shouldn't be at T-GES and the the darkness must not be breached, they led Shepard right to them. I hardly doubt having Shepard chase fake Garneau to real Garneau's body was a coincidence.SwobyJ wrote...

The point was that they want you to think you can control them.OMGsideboob wrote...
Spent about 90 mins watching a "documentary" profiling this theory...
I would believe the IT, but they ignore Priority: Horizon and the message sent during the mission... Why would the Reapers attack Sanctuary if its what they wanted you to do all along? Wouldn't they allow you to see this happening and that its a good thing to convince you to do it? Or is that a big mind**** their "attack" only to throw you off and make you go towards it? Considering no actual Reaper ship is used and only disposable converted beings like Banshees, Brutes, etc. are used...
If you get to the point where you might actually stand a chance, suddenly that's objectionable

"Yes sir."
"Then let's make it quick."
"Never before have all gathered he from all conors of the BSN, but never before have we faced an enemy as this. The Collectors will show us no mercy we shall give them no quater. They will abduct our colonys, and turn our loved ones against us, but we will not faulter. We will prevale. Each of you will be defined by your actions in the upcoming battle. So stand strong. Stand fast. Stand together."
MB out.

It is going to end roughly in three hours.
BTW: If anyone of you fellow ITers wants to bash the Collectors today on PC, my ID is Humblegar. I think I'll start playing in about five hours.
Edit: I get the feeling MB that you really like Hackett.

Someone said that the London mission felt lackluster and lacked music. Though I agree that the London mission was way too short and you did not see your assets in action, I have to admit that the atmosphere of desperation and horror was very well done. Everything was converging to the final culmination of the trilogy (and then we got Marauder Shields).
Though the Beam Run had no music, I think that the last battle at the Missle Launchers was really well done considering the used music. And boy, that was the hardest part of the whole trilogy. At one point, I moved the heavy weapon to a better position and at the last wave, this heavy weapon disappeared that I had saved for this exact wave. I played for two hours to kill those damned Banshees and all the other mooks. Then I had to reload, because it was impossible (Insanity Difficulty). And the part where the Reaper Destroyer starts shooting at you and there are always two Banshees on the map. I still have nightmares, when I hear those scream. I think I need a therapist.

@restrider, although i admit that it was hard, it wasn't THAT hard. I did it my first try on insanity.
Same here, but it was on a NG+ and I was level 60 (Vanguard).
Didn't even realize there were heavy weapons there.

I thought so too. But it can be quite a good time, granted your teammaes are not lunatic vanguars who try to racknup the most kills and end up getting killed the most instead. Don't get me wrong..vanguards player by skilled people are invaluable teammates. But it seems only a handful of people can handle them.

Well, Shep's one would sort-of pulse if you touched it. I always thought they were Prothean spheres due to the in-game email Shep gets after the mission saying something about a burst transmission of data when the big sphere collapsed in on itself. Then again, most things ascribed to Protheans in-game tend to later be revealed as Reaper-tech.D.Sharrah wrote...
Was thinking today...is there a general consensus on whether or not, either the Reaper or the Leviathans, may have been able to "re-purpose" Prothean Beacons to make them do more than just simply act as a communication device - but as a device that can also start the indoctrination process?
This was one of the things that I thought was being implied while watching CW Ep 2...and the "supporting evidence" was Dr. Manuel. I always thought that he had just activated the beacon, and because he did not have as strong of a will as Shep, his mind was broken a little. You get to see the continuation of Dr. Manuel's story in ME 2 wile playing through the Firewalker missions - a story that leads to the discovery of what was believed to be prothean artifacts...artifacts that strike a remarkable resemblance to the Leviathan orbs. Now all but one of these orbs is sent to Cerberus, the odd one out ending up in Shep's cabin as an apparently inert object.
Following these facts and what we learn in Leviathan...it poses several very important questions because of the potential impact on IT:
1. Where are all the objects;
(a) The ones that were sent to Cerberus?
(The one that was in Shep's cabin?
2. Were the objects actually inert?
3. IF the object were not inert, did the Leviathan's activate any of them to;
(a) Get a glimpse of the uiverse at their new locations?
(Exert their control over any in their presence?
4. IF 3(happened, who has been influenced? Shep? TIM? Alliance?
5. And most importantly, how does this impact IT and the endings?
Yeah, I know I am just creating more questions than providing any answers. Frankly I don't know what too make of that sphere, except that it is so similar to the one on Elatania which you can only access with Sha-ira's key.

When I did that with an Infiltrator and somehow he had the worst weapons/skills to fight barriers, that's where it was impossible.
