Big Boss, um I saw a Cannible eat a Volus, and um I wanted to through up. Jk But I literaly saw a Cannible eat a volus, and I saw a Turian just like in the Trailer get...get it was to horrable. I tried to save the Turian, but Harbinger took Control of anobomination, and well it hade the power/shock of a nuke when I shoot it, and took me down in the process.

The sight of a Volus combatant would make even a Cannibal vomit. The possessed Abomination explosion is hilarious. Same sound as a Harvester death, I think.

Geth Prime a volus hit the button as I was fighting my way out of the reactor core, and the funny thing was the preatorian picked up my Destroyer and carried him out the door, and I will spare you the details, but he died so young.

Collectors are quite tricky. I think its smart that Harbinger leaves no verbal indication of when he's possessing a collector. It brings a level of uncertainty to the battle as he can now silently possess anything he wants.

It would also be annoying to hear it incessantly, but it would've been nice if the mechanic were included once per wave for nostalgia's sake.

I believe so Big Boss, and to be honest the volus players are not helping at all. I mean don't get me wrong, but their powers suck. They can run very fast like they took red sand, and well they may have the guns that the player has, but ya.

I literaly had too keep reviving the volus, and it got to the point were I was like " f*** this." So I left them to die, but the funny thing was I lost connection when I was about to kill a collector.

But hey next Bioware please make me, and all of us Elcor tanks, and Hanar.

From what Zaeed tells me they are pretty good fighters.

So... Did they release every charecter yet? Or is there still charecters that they will release weekly or something. (I am still holding out hope for a female Quarian Sentinel).

Actually someone pointed out that it's good that Harbinger doesn't talk in MP because that means he only talks to Shepard which help IT.

L Harbinger loves Shepard I guess.

Yes there are more characters to come. I can’t remember all of them but we’ll be getting two more characters for each class. Sadly the only new Quarian is a Male Quarian Soldier.

That isn't true. The Codex entry for the Collector General references others hearing Harbinger speak.

Edit: Anderson's speech from the Earth DLC trailer was also included in the Earth DLC files. I don't think it means anything.

Edit 2: 12 more character kits left to be released. The two Asari look very interesting, especially the Huntress.

I think the Volus is meant to be a support character not a fighter. He’s supposed to stay behind cover and only venture out to replenish team mates shields.

<_<... I bet from my avatar you can tell how I feel towards that... If there were new charecters added I just hoped that at least one would be a female Quarian. I am genuinely surprised at how sad I actually am about this.

Okay Big boss it's because Harbinger doesn't care about people trying stop him only Shepard. Also what if other Reapers are taking control of the Collectors I mean some of the codex about the Reapers taking control of people. So maybe we are not fighting Harbinger because he is heading towards Omega, and Shepard has to go investigate what's broowing in Omega.

Volus handycap my *** they suck. They are only good when you are about to kill an enemy and they take the last shot. Also they ran fast as hell without breathing hard. They should run slow.

And Shepard has to bear the burden of the first, perfect Reaper (Harbinger) taking a special interest in him and trying to take his mind throught ME2 and Arrival. That would undoubtedly make the normal person go insane with indoctrination.

Just random thoughts about the dystopian end to ME3 with the Leviathan stuff added in....
Kind of reminds me in a way of the novel 'The Sea of Glass' by Longyear.

A protagonist that's manipulated to get the ending that the computer desires.

I'm probably muddled though, I read that book when I was 12 (and it haunts me still). So I'm probably making very thin connections of similarity.

+1 The only feature about the Volus that is good is whoever did the voice-acting for them in MP.

Yeah I can sympathise, I really want a new female quarian character too.

I think we’re  going to be getting two new Asari characters, a sentinel and an inlfiltrator. A drell assassin. A Bataraian vangaurd and adept. A Krogan adept. A Turian and Vorcha engineer and a Geth and Male quarian soldier. Oh and Volus vanguard and sentinel. Looking forward to getting my hands on the Turian engineer, it sounds like he can create turrets. Payback time on some Cerberus engineers me thinks.

One thing I’m disappointed about though with retaliation is that I thought we were getting all of the new hazard maps on day 1, instead we only got two.

Volus are support characters...
Their speed and cloak are to help them revive other characters. They use buffs to heal their squad and debuffs to lower the enemy's defenses. They are supposed to run and hide, pick their spots, spam their powers, and get to downed fighters...

If you play a Volus as a run and gunner, you are going to fail hard...

But 3 fighters and a good support character > 4 fighters

Well goodnight. Hopefully I'll dream that they have a female Quarian charecter from Retaliation put in the game, and I can play as that class. (Yes, this is sad because it's true).

The reapers did force synthesis on the galaxy through Shepard even in the literal endings. This is all I will say because I really do not want to get into a synthesis argument. It will accomplish nothing seeing as we are going to stick with our opinions on the matter anyway.

I suppose that's the difference in interpretation that leads us to different choices.  I will only say that Bioware made it very clear that Shepard was the avatar of the cycle, even without the Catalyst saying it out loud, and leave it at that.  I don't want to retread this tired argument either.

Bill not if you play on Platinum, and gold, and silvir they suck. I mean their support doesn't come in handy at all.
