By the way who's liking the scoring system? I think it makes MP a bit more fun to see a little pop up saying how much I did this or that. Makes me a bit more emboldened to win

EDIT - though too bad they don't count what we've already done.  What I think is hard is having to get points for things we don't do well with either characters, weapons, or just plain techniques

Most of the vids I'd seen, but not the 1.5 hr ones all the way through b4.

Really need to finish up so I can get up to speed on the EC and Leviathan (haven't done either).

Also, need to try MP again.

Lot of content for fan fiction ain't it?;)

Playing with Blur and Banshee is hilarious. (jade too)

I dont know, I am writing a fan fiction story which is approaching the length of the 3 Lord of the Rings books  (It has been a hobby work for the last 3-4 years)

Still though IT is not fan fiction, it is a theory (one with an unbelievable amount of content supporting it) no matter what the litteralists might say and we got the forum managers support on that one.

That sounds like some serious fan fiction! Oh, and yeah, IT is not fan fiction. Why? Because we didn't invent anything, which is required for fan fiction. We simply see things differently - the same things.

Goodnight.

You know speaking of literalists....I'm betting they felt vindicated because of the images of the Volus in MP and it literally was true.

Speaking of Volus - bump...(breathes) "I am (breathes) a biotic God (breathes) I think things (breathes) and they happen (breathes)  Fear me lesser creatures (breathes) for I am biotic made flesh! (breathes)" (and after a bit of breathing and commentary depending on your choice either a nose itch or a fall later) "You may be right (breathes) I am tired (breathes) I'll nap (breathes) Destroy the universe later (breathes)"

A ME 2 classic yes?  Probably only to Volus and Elcor right?

Hey so now it works

Anyways that one post I posted a while back, this is just like the end of the game, in fact I used some of my own words in here and some from the game. It goes something like this, and read every line before you make a choice.

So you have 4 options let me tell you about them:

The Crucible changed me. Created new…possibilities but I can’t make them happen. If there is to be a new solution, you must act. It is now in your power to destroy us. But be warned, others will be destroyed as well. The Crucible will not discriminate. All synthetics will be targeted. Even you are partly synthetic.

Destroy all technology you depend on will be affected
Red gives you the power to destroy synthetics
Destroy will not have peace lasting
Red will cause who survives to repair the damage
Destroy you will not lose what you've already lost
Red will kill all synthetic life including the geth and edi
Destroy is what anderson wants
Red is what you do not want
Control you will die
Blue you will control reapers
Control you will lose everything you have
Blue your thoughts and memories will continue
Control you will no longer be organic
Blue you will become disconnected from your kind
Control is when you are a reaper
Blue creates husks
Control is what the illusive man want
Blue is controling what you want
Control you can control the reapers
Blue you can direct the galaxy as you see fit
Synthesis is the ideal solution
Green cannot be forced
Synthesis you are ready, you may choose it
Green will be peace
Synthesis will have full understanding of synthetics
Green will have full understanding of organics
Synthesis will join all life together
Green will save the galaxy
Synthesis is what the reapers want
Green is what you want
Synthesis synthetics are already a part of you
Green can you imagine your life without sythetics
Synthesis organics seek perfection through technology
Green synthetics seek perfection through organics
Refuse will start the cycle again
Black will end the current cycle
Refuse is what the reaper program want
Black is what you do not want

Now make a choice below based on what you just read:

blue green black red

So tell me which color you voted for. For simplicity's sake name them option 1, 2, 3, or 4

Option 4, because I know what you did there. At least I think I know it.

I see what you did there. good objectivication. Though, the one I've left up there: had to read it twice...

Though, no matter in what way it is formatted, or in whatever context the choices are put, their ultimate flaw (to me) lies within the presentation of them.
Maybe a player who is used to having faith in certain things has it easier on this than someone who's rather used to questioning things:

In order to pick a color, I have to base my decision-process on the description of the choices - the source of whom is part of (or the single most) untrustworthy instance in the galaxy.
So, if the source is unrelyable, how can I choose properly? Why should one color be more legit than the other?

Analogy (sort of):
A stranger offers some kid a bag of Gummy Bears. He tells the kid:
the blues are tranquilizers,
the greens give more Bears,
the reds are poisenous but then he'll leave me be.
(I can also walk away or pick one Bear and throw it away but then he'll probably kill me).

IMO, there is no real choice here, the situation itself is sick.

Or maybe I'm not playing the game correctly.

I enjoy the white ones. I know this is not a mainstream gummy bear, though.
