Rifneno, do you really kick volus players out of the lobby?

Volus are OP. They keep taking all the kills.

I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm.  I tried a volus today.  It kind of sucked.

I just played with one on gold and he ended on top of the scoreboard. Like everything you just need practice and a good team. Have you guys seen that thread? a guy solo'ed Platinum with the adept :o

HOLY SHISNO!  Seriously?  No, seriously?  That's... wow.  I guess I need to practice more.  I mean... holy shisno. :o

I'm still trying to get over the whole "solo'd Platinum" post-Retaliation. I mean, Bronze is the new Silver, Silver the new Gold, and Gold the new Platinum.  It should be essentially impossible to complete solo on Platinum with any character, let alone a Volus.

I still haven't unlocked any volus char but I'd love to see a video of that Platinum solo match. Posted Image

Either no, and that means he never ran out of missles, revive packs, and no help at all.

I can see Bronze, and Silvir but gold, and platinum no. Also don't tell me he fought the collectors.

BioWare's image at their NYCC booth. Just showing the obvious really, but Omega stuff is very close. We're going to find out something new soon enough.

If the others also want a serious game.  Generally I just leave if I see one.  Faster that way.

Don't get me wrong but you sound prejudiced with your dislike towards the volus.

I'm sure the rest of the thread would thank you not to get me started again.

Nah, that's from Priestly's Twitter.  Although it doesn't look like there'd be enough chairs for me if I was.  :P

Btw, if synthesis and control are valid ways to break indoctrination, how come Shepard doesn't wake up?

Because Shep is still in fantasy lala land in the other two, you know, indoctrinated.

Aria was deplicted as damn near omnipotent in the comic that came with the collector's edition (collector edition, came with Javik for free, get it?).  But then again, so was Liara in the "right after ME1" comic and she was little more than a bookworm that was awkward around boys (and girls) at that point.  So take that with a grain of salt.  Still, Aria's at matriarch age if I remember right, so she's going to be a hell of a biotic regardless.

Because he has yet to do so? As in it is harder and requires complicated conditions? And only High EMS destroy is not conditional? and further more - how do we know that high ems destroy is actually waking up? I mean it can be just still part of a dream, but closer to reality - i mean shepard does still have his burned armor on - which he has only in a dream.  That is a possibility to consider.

Modular hypothesis is that DLC will add elements that finally allow Shepard to get to the Citadel. Right now if IT is true Harbinger is still around and Shepard is probably lying on the ground somewhere. Not a great start. We also know Harbinger does not miss.

What we need is something to take out Harbinger, we have Leviathan but that is not enough. Omega will add more elements to the ending and give us more clues.

I bought the collector's edition and only had the first part of arias comic in it. Should it contain more?

They already did.  That's the cover from the Aria vs. Cerberus comics.  Can probably find it on google images.  I'd help look , but I'm due to get my ass kicked soloing with the saber again trying to work my assault rifle challenges.  Man, I SUCK with this gun.  Hilariously it's my only ultra rare at X.  And I had less trouble doing the vindicator's challenge.

I am starting to believe that almost all ITers are really anti-enders who may still be in the denial phase. The rest of us are in the barganing or anger phase:wizard:

Incorrect.  I think all anti-ITers are actually just too proud to admit their mistake and show remorse for their anger.

But hey.  Facts.

Saber is my favorite gun as well, but it's fire rate was always too slow for me.  That's my main complaint with it.  Beast of a gun though.

Also Xil really I guess the Catalyst died in Synthesis. Their should be no way a beam of green energu that only changes DNA should Destroy the Citadel.

I can see Destroy, but Control all it does is gain Control of the Reapers, and no Citadel blowing up. [/b]

In Literal sense it makes no sense. IT it does.

My two cents on the bold part - because synthesis I know does not make any sense.

In all endings the starkid dies. In destroy he dies, in control he is replaced, in synthesis he dies (citadel blows up and his 'mission' is fulfilled).

The reason the citadel doesn't blow up is because it was just doing a copy paste of the new catalyst code to all the reapers - they still need the citadel to control the reapers.

Here's an idea. If the ending is all a dream in Shepard's mind by choosing control does this mean you are stuck in a never ending dream? Hence why the Citadel never gets destroyed cause the dream never ended.
Plus for the variations of destroy - this really means how much of your mind was ravaged by the choice so when Earth is vaporized it must mean a good chunk of your mind went and you turned into a vegetable (remember no breath scene here)
For Synthesis - I have to think about this one

How is citadel controlling the reapers? )))

The Catalyst is located in the Citadel and is still necessary for control.

go back to the codex on the citadel. It doesn't control the reapers at all. It controls the mass relays

So the thing that controls all reapers is located on the citadel? Wow. never knew that... Does it control the citadel, or is it just like some stowaway thingy, that just happens to be there?

From the codex:

The Citadel was not, in fact, constructed by the Protheans; they were simply the last race to make use of the station before the asari arrived. It, and the mass relays, are the creations of theReapers, and were built to help facilitate their cycle of galactic genocide. The Reapers were also responsible for the placement of the keepers on the station, in order that the occupying races would not discover the Citadel's key functions. The station is actually an inactive mass relay leading to dark space, designed as an elaborate trap so the Reapers can wipe out the heart of galactic civilization and leadership in a single, devastating strike.
